Burns head lovely experience superb food and drink very friendly staff and regular customers loved it defo be back excellent wife choice of hot food for a cold Sunday drive out with the family , Friday nights quiz night with the best home made pizza s anywhere in the country and they are superb and huge in size ????

We have used this pub off and on for some years, through the tenure of a few landlords and landladies. Gary and Rachel that have it now are by far the best thing to have happened to this pub ... ever. The place is cleaner than it has ever been, they are more welcoming than any of the previous owners and their food is by far the best ever served here. Their barmaid Becky is also a family member and, like the owners, is very efficient and friendly. Please ignore the old reviews that show the pub in a bad light. Under the previous owners the pub did have some real problems, but since Gary and Rachel took over, all those issues were ironed out. I suppose this reads like a paid-for reference, but please don't think that. I give credit where it's due and, now, this pub deserves the accolades it could have had long ago. One last thing; no, I was not friends with Gary and Rachel before they moved into the Burns Head. I am just really glad they did.

This is a lovely little traditional pub with great food and lovely staff. We were made to feel very welcomed on arrival, and staff were attentive but not intrusive. We had a lovely Sunday lunch, and there was plenty of it. The puddings were just as delicious. We were a group of 7 and didn't feel rushed at all. We enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The Burns Head was clean and tidy.The whole experience was a joy, especially as we were a family group. We all agreed that The Burns Head is a place that we will make return visits to.Parking: There is a small carpark to the side of the pub. The carpark is free.
