Extremely helpful staff
Food was amazing and we was not waiting long for meals to be brought out to us, steaks cooked perfect.
After eating we found the secret beer garden, and enjoyed a drink in the sun ?
Reasonably priced.

Amazing food, we was welcomed by the landlord and was so friendly, the staff are very welcoming and very efficient. Great atmosphere and great service. We'll definitely be returning, see you again really soon team Duke!!

Popped in for a light lunch and was pleased with the overall experience. Quality of food and presentation was good. Service was very good. Just a bit lacking in overall atmosphere but it was a Monday so ...

Nice to stop for a pint but blimey there's some fowl mouthed locals who go in there. Even the staff looked embarrassed given it was only 3.30 in the afternoon.

Food is exactly what you'd expect from a Marston's pub. Service was however exceptional by Craig in the kitchen, made us aware of everything, went above and beyond.

Very disappointing to attend here around 10:30pm on a Saturday night. The pub had around 10 people and 4 teenage members of staff wearing tracksuits on duty. 3 of the members of staff were staring at their phones with their back to the 3 of us waiting to be served whilst we all looked at each other bewildered. The other was playing on the slot machine. No sign of any form of management on site. I did make a comment on why it took so long to be served despite the pub being nearly empty and the reply was "like it or get out" in a threatening tone.
Owners - Seriously you need to get these members of staff sorted or the pub will become more and more emptier.
