Just an excellent all round friendly, welcoming local pub with exceptional food, super fresh ingredients, high quality products, including good gluten free options. Service and environment spot on. A definite place to come to for lunch and dinner. And if you're not in or around Market Weighton more than worth a bus journey or drive out.

Went for dinner Friday night my partner had the salmon which was perfect and I had the sweet potato tart which I'm so glad I chose ...it was delicious ?this place has fine dining at pub prices....wonderful service...very friendly staff. What more could you want..

We called in for Sunday lunch after reading reviews.
We were not disappointed, the food was first class. It was well presented and tasted superb.
If we are ever in the area again we will be certain to visit.

We had the roast beef and pork, absolutely gorgeous! The puddings are divine too, the staff are very attentive without being too much. We were only visiting for the day otherwise we'd definitely return! Highly recommend, I'd book to be sure of a table. Dog friendly, well worth a visit, clean toilets. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Thanks for an all round lovely experience much appreciated! X

Popped in here a couple of Sundays ago on the off chance that there might be a table available for Sunday Lunch. We had our dog with us and they managed to accommodate us in the bar area. The pub itself is a lovely, traditional pub and really well kept. The staff are all friendly and attentive. Our Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious and also served on hot plates which we do like. This is a family run pub with son at front of house doing a superb job (sorry, forgot your name!) and parents in the kitchen turning out quality food. Highly recommended and we will be back soon.
