Turned up without booking but they managed to squeeze us in and wow the best steak and ale pie I've had melts in your mouth and a big serving. Would recommend booking a table but it's definitely worth it.

we came for the first time yesterday and it definately will not be the last. food was delicious, very good portions. the staff were so nice. we was sat near the bar so could hear most interactions between staff/customers and every person was greated and spoken too really lovely. thank you. we will be back again soon for sure

Food was great. Would recommend. Id ask to sit in either the main room or the bar for better atmosphere. The older waitress was delightful and supper friendly. Would return!

It was supposed to be dog friendly on TripAdvisor but when we arrived it was not. The outdoor seating area looked abandoned, dirty and dog unfriendly. However, indoors the place looked clean and tidy but very plain.

It's difficult to say, as they are not dog-friendly. They have only a small outdoor space, and it's not very pleasant.

Just had an amazing meal at The Dacre Arms. The food was hearty and delicious and the service was exemplary. We were walk ins and it was obvious that they were busy and about to get busier however, we were made to feel very welcome and shown straight to a table.
I ordered the homemade steak pie and was offered my choice of potatoes and vegetables. My hubby got the steak and onion baguette which was served with salad, coleslaw and homemade chips. On the checkback, I was asked if I wanted more gravy and was promptly delivered some. Our server was an absolute delight, cheerful and polite.
This was our best experience of dining out this week whilst visiting the East coast of Yorkshire.
Thank you Dacre Arms, a real gem!

We?ve been regular customers to The Dacre Arms but the last couple of times we?ve been for Sunday lunch, it hasn?t been great as our meals had very obviously been plated up then left for an age under the grill resulting in very dry, overcooked food and a plate that my fingers would?ve stuck too had I touched it, that said, one of our party had fish and chips and it looked lovely!
