What a gem of a pub!
Had a great breakfast at The Ship Inn ? fresh, hearty, and exactly what you want to start your day. But it?s not just about the breakfasts? this place is everything a village pub should be and more.
It?s got that authentic, cosy village pub atmosphere, but with a modern twist! they have live acts and karaoke nights to darts and the brilliantly quirky "Junemas" (Christmas in June!), there?s always something going on to bring the people together.
A proper local with a big heart ? brilliant pub, brilliant people running it. Can?t recommend it enough!

Great pub, full of great people!
I am a contactor and am used to working and drinking all over the country and abroad. I have never been made to feel more welcome in a pub.
Decent pub, run by decent ladies with decent patrens!
Also if you like darts you will always find a game because it's a darts mad pub!!
10/10

Not been in that pub in 20 odd years since I lived on the marshes just recently moved back into the village.not much has changed inside or outside.it was like coming out of a time machine.exeot pool table relocated dart board in exactly the same place.
Different land Lords and that's the only changes in all those years a lot less people in the pub on the night we went in for our first village pint.

The ship inn is a traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, lagers, and cider, cask conditioned hand-pulled real ale, a nice beer I hadn't had before, which was in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a nice cosy bar with a pool table, dart board, and TV. Outside, there is a beer garden with plenty of seating and a car park.Parking: The pub has its own large car park.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and the pub is all on one level.

felt like aliens when we went in, and constantly felt watched, will definitely not go again, not even greeted by the landlady's, just stared at as we walked in, used to be a lovely pub. its definitely gone down hill in my estimation
