Held a birthday with 25 guests.Mains were nice, but expensive.The deserts were expensive for the portion size at nearly £7 a go.Afterwards the restaurant over charged us for an extra meal @ £13.95 which I queried and was told would be sorted but to no avail

Wow, wow, wow!!Dined here twice this week already as staying at Willow Pastures lodges. The food is restaurant quality and plenty of it, all fresh. I had sausage and mash the first night and Veggie Lasagne the 2nd. Hubby had Steak Pie and the Sea Bass the 2nd night. All fresh veg and cooked fresh, the prices really good to say such great quality. Fabulous!!

Dined Sunday evening in the conservatory as very quiet. Waitress pleasant but didn't know what beer they offered, asked for glass sauvignon blanc, was not nice. Food served quickly, although the fish & chips was huge was greasy. Scampi was ok , burger ok but was confused why it was served in what looked like a burnt hot cross bun. When waitress collected our plates she scraped all the leftover food onto one plate at our table. Felt like she was our mother! Value for money but a bit disappointed in all.

Still waiting for a reply from our abhorrent service on Christmas Day. The manager has said she has answered all complaints but I?ve had no reply. Multiple emails and a letter delivered by recorded delivery. She is now trying to gaslight people on Tripadvisor by saying everyone who complained were troublesome. At least 10 people have started a group to have our complaints dealt with properly. The worst service I have experienced anywhere in the world. Shameful management.Food & drinks: Vegetarian meal was undercooked and never received another. Charged full price for a three year old.

Myself ordered a pie tonight and our friend ordered the same meal. It was a big dispointment because the pie was drowned with gravey and all you could taste was gravey. The vegetables where soggy and over cooked veg. The chips where dry and not nice. The mash was microwaved too much and not much flavour. The whole presentation of the food was poor and was off putting. Our experience this time round was upsetting because we where looking forward to it. Been here on a number of times and never been dispointed in the meals.The meal was replaced with a nice lasgane. We won't be in a rush to return back.

Absolutely shocking service, the 2nd waitress who came and asked "is everything OK with your meals?", as I started to reply to her, she was already looking away at the empty table next to us. So it was obviously a question she had Absolutely no interest in hearing my reply!Next thing some guy who was sat drinking beer at the bar wearing a White super dry hoodie, suddenly approached our table and grabbed the empty plastic fruit shoot bottle from my daughter, with not even a word muttered. Very Random.Then another waitress 10 minutes later, came and picked up my mother's drink that was still 1/4 full and asked have you finished with this? "NO!".Then some lady came to take away our main course plates, which my daughter had left the majority of as the vegetable were like mush and un appetising, and asked "was everything OK with you meals?"When I answered "No, the vegetables were cooked too much, and obviously like mush!"She did not like to hear my feedback.So obviously when she is asking us "if everything is OK with our meals?", it is just lip service, and the only reply tolerated by her is "yes, everything was lovely!" And when you say anything other than yes, there is no interest in the feedback.Very shocking service and people skills! Have they got a shortage of glasses in the pub, if they feel they need to come to the table and take people's unfinished drinks?I shall put this place on my list of places never to return to. Its a shame, as when my friend Gary Milner ran the pub years ago, it was fantastic.I shall cook at home in future, and get a far superior end product!

I got food that was not as described at all and was way overpriced for what we got I left most of it and I'm really not a fussy eater at all I would not recommend it save your money and go elsewhere very disappointed ?

Not worth the one star food is cheap quality bits of meat! Deffo not worth £25 for a mix grill and add on an extra £3.50 if u want sauce, !And the owners attitude well, let?s just say can?t see this place been open that long with her running it horrible experience never again,You clearly got to be a certain type to fit in at this pub

I?m not one to usually leave a review but after the most horrendous customer service from the OWNER. It?s safe to say we won?t be returning to a place that treats there customers like that. AVOID!

Not worth the one star !!!!! Horrendous food and even worse attitude from owner, just look at the reviews on here, can't just be people moaning there's abit of a pattern, look at the owners replies on here ???
