Great bar with 2 drinking sections and a small outdoor drinking area. All are kept clean and tidy. There's a great atmosphere indoors, as its usually nice and calm.The staff are friendly and polite, they get to you to take your order quickly at busy times. Drinks are reasonably priced with a large selection to choose from, ranging from ales, ciders, a range of spirits and wines .There's a small carpark which is easy to access from the main road.

Me and my partner have been searching all day for a great atmosphere we've been Witham, Newland Ave, and this bar is the best of the rest by far great work ?on a Sunday to date great staff and Kerry behind the bar is amazing... thank you cross keys for staying a traditional local boozer 10/10

The dark haired bar staff man is so rude not child friendly at all, spoke to us and the kids like rubbish will not come again.

Lovely and clean since the refurbishment. Staff friendly....No children after 6pm though, for us that's a minus point.

An excellent pub offering a choice of cask conditioned real ale. At Low prices. There is also a variety of other beers and lagers. A large comfortable pub ideal for watching sports on many TVs several rooms. The pub is also dog friendly and has a large car park and plenty of outside seating. Highly recommended.Safety: A very nice residential area of the city close to the university.Walkability: Within walking distance of the shops and walking distance to Hull University.Noteworthy details: Close to Hull University

Great pub I haven't been there for about 3years nice refurbish, just a shame they don't do food anymore ,as it always had a good reputation for it's food ?
