We visited this lovely pub whilst on a holiday in the area. And met the lovely landlord and his wife. And we were met with a warm and friendly welcome. All the staff were very friendly and helpful ?Rooms: The 2 rooms on offer are very comfortable and clean and well presentedNearby activities: Your very close to the east coast of Yorkshire so plenty of beaches to visit

The black bull pub Is a traditional english village pub. There are bar games and the pub is dog friendly. There's a nice comfortable bar selling a variety of beers, lagers, and cider. Sadly, there was no cask conditioned real ales when we called in for a drink. Meals are available and there is a large car park.Nearby activities: There is an equestrian centre nearby and sandhill garden centre.Walkability: A quiet village. Some country footpaths and countryside to walk in.Food & drinks: The pub serves food, a variety of beers, and wine, available in the bar.

Just had Christmas lunch here. The food was well cooked and delicious. The service was excellent. The staff are so attentive and friendly. Even better was the Christmas special for pensioners. Half price. I would highly recommend this place.Food & drinks: Tasty large portions. I will definitely go back

Just come back from the black bull...burton pidsea and I must say easily one of the best Sunday lunch we have had for the longest time..food was piping hot and absolutely delicious..service was exceptional.and very polite.. the pub atmosphere very friendly .cannot praise it enough.will definitely definitely be back..if your looking for somewhere to treat your family.look no further exceptional

Called here on our way to holiday park. Very rainy night but a lovely warm welcome and the food was incredible. Like being at home for nice home cooked food and such good portions too. Staff all lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to going back to try the breakfast out ???

We ate here last night, fish chips and mushy peas and hunters chicken. The BEST ever I have had and I have hunters chicken everywhere I go. The staff are very welcoming, we will be back.
