I've always loved Pizza Express for dining in. The staff always seem so friendly. I was in a bit of a rush, but they always seem soo efficient and I'm never waiting for too long.

We had a great experience at Pizza Express today. We were a group of 10 adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers. The food was good, everyone enjoyed their choices but what really made it was the exceptional service. The young man serving our table (so sorry I didn't ask his name) was efficient, friendly and helpful and managed to keep everyone happy. The other staff were also keen to ensure everything was good for us. We all commented on the excellent level of service.

This week, I have eaten at 6 different pizza expresses and tried most of the menu and have saved loads using the new app. The waiter was great here for us, which helped us enjoy the experience. Getting to gold is amazing. I got a free cookbook this time. Food was great, and both my son and myself enjoyed it. A lot busier maybe because of the heavy rain. They had heaters around the restaurant to keep us toasty.

Always great service and nice food. Pleasant view of the old Quay. Family friendly and has a good kids menu. Room can be cold and a bit lifeless, but that is a minor grumble.

This evening we chose to dine at pizza express in princess quay hull. We had a comedy event to attend (Paul smith) as it wasn?t that busy and confirming this with the waitress we took our seats. We ordered promptly. One pizza one Mac and cheese, two coca colas. 15 minutes passed when we had to remind the waitress about our drinks and after 20 minutes we finally got them. Time was getting on at this point as we got told within 25 minutes we would have our food which was ideal as start of Paul Smith was 2000hrs. We thought if we had left by 1945 this would be plenty of time to get to our seats. 1945 and we called the waitress over enquiring about our food, in almost a joking manner stated ?oh I don?t actually know if I remembered to put the order through let me check? this lead me to say if it hasn?t been put through I?ll just leave it with have places to be. She then informed me that the food was ?just coming out? now I?m not sure if a snail was on the pass but it was another five minutes to have this boxed up (we had to ask to takeaway as we had no chance to sit down and dine) by the time we had walked to the car I noticed my pizza wasn?t even cut. Too late to eat now so the pizza and mac and cheese got binned as we wouldn?t be eating the food cold. This has put me off pizza express completely. I could have ordered a dominoes and had it ordered and delivered in less time than that of pizza ?express? will not be using pizza express again.
