We visited for an 80th birthday party, the place is decorated incredibly well and the staff were really friendly! The buffet was good and there was plenty to go around! The drinks weren't too badly priced and the atmosphere was nice and chilled! Will definitely be back to try the main menu!

Dear Owner, you are very quick on making remarks about the name I had as up to now I've never felt the need to write such a review on any business and I have mainly used my account to play games. Firstly, we never complain, we hate to do it, and I have 2+ years in hospitality so I understand sometimes a night can simply go wrong, but this isn't excusable. Beautiful venue with great potential, but service was unacceptably poor. It took 10 minutes to take drink orders, then another 10 for food. A wrong mixer was quickly corrected, but a random second bottle of red wine arrived with a cooler (for red wine?!), which we never ordered. When my father asked for the pork steak on the menu, the response was "No, we won?t ever do that again? - no explanation, no alternative suggestions. Steaks were advertised with mushrooms and onions, but came with potatoes, which wasn?t mentioned when ordering, and in fact he said "and which side would you want?" leading to us unnecessarily spend £20 on extra sides. Mains took 45 minutes after starters, and throughout our 1hr 50min meal, not once were we offered another drink or had glasses cleared - 2 members of staff in particular repeatedly walked past doing nothing, counted about 8 times. One waiter even laughed after hearing our complaint, and another was filming customers, including children, without consent, and the doorman was on his phone 80% of the time. We were offered free drinks as an apology, but with wasted money, a soggy vegetarian burger, and zero effort to make things right, we left disappointed. Kitchen staff seem skilled enough, but front-of-house was completely untrained. If this was a reasonably priced place, we wouldn't think to complain, but if you are going to parade as a luxury place and charge the prices you charge, it has to have standards. I had planned to book a 12+ cover table here with a university team, but I?ll be looking elsewhere. You?d get better service at Wetherspoons (and that's not even a joke).

It?s sad to post a negative review , but I feel it must be said . I booked a table for 5 on Saturday night for my husbands 60th celebrations with the family . First of all I didn?t like the fact that on booking they wanted me to send my card details to secure my booking .( I didn?t do it ) . We where disappointed in the fact that we were put downstairs although the decor is lovely . Between us we all had starters calamari ( which was nice ) garlic mushrooms ( my family said the sauce was watery) pork belly bites ( which where nice also ) . But then the main course. Me and my hubby had ordered the sirloin steak medium. Mine with the blue cheese crumb. ( blue cheese in a ramekin) . Husband was with red wine sauce (as watery as a glass of red wine ). And I know about a jus but didn?t look anything like it . The main thing was ,we both ordered medium cooked .mine was very chewy that I struggled to swallow it and the waitress had to wait for me to get it down so I could speak . My husbands came and it was blue inside , raw. They took his back and brought a different one but he left it as he felt it wasn?t right . My daughter had fillet and hers was perfect with pepper sauce . Also didn?t realise our steaks came with potato so we ordered 3 portions of some fries/ rosemary potato?s . Why didn?t the waitress explain to us that they come with the steak! what a waste. The other 2 family members ordered the burger and said it was just like a pub burger nothing special, no side salad either just chips and burger put on a plate no presentation whatsoever ever . Sides, We ordered 2 creamed spinach ( other than a salad no other veg on the menu ) it was very bland and watery but onion flower was nice . This is a steak restaurant surely they should know how to cook a steak !!!And season the food . We decided on not having deserts and coffee as we normally do and asked for the bill . On which a gentleman came over and said he was knocking off 50% off the steak price for the Sirloin but no apology. So We paid and left .We all where vey disappointed on what should have been a very nice family celebration .

The wife and myself went to the steakhouse tonight as a gift from our Daughter,the Decor was outstanding, absolutely Spotless facilities,Staff very welcoming and polite ,the service was brilliant and the food was absolutely beautiful and one of the best stakes I've had the wife had the Salmon and said it was fantastic, thank you for a memorable meal we will be back

Went for my birthday last Saturday brilliant venue. Was shown to the upstairs area. The service was very slow due to 2 members of the waiting staff being off sick. We waited an hour before anyone came to take our drink order then when someone came chewing gum it wasn?t the best advertisement. I will say if you are looking for an intermittent evening ask to be seated downstairs as the live DJ although very good played as though it was a dance floor and not a dining room, this in turn raised the volume of voices so shouting to be heard was the order of the evening. When the food arrived it was 1st class and well presented. Overall all things considered it was a good experience and will be returning despite waking up with a sore throat and slightly deaf.

Me and my partner ate here last night. Service was outstanding ( staff very on the ball with drink orders, checking if you need anything? Polite and friendly etc..)
Food arrives so quickly and perfectly cooked. My parter had porthouse steak with various sides and I had the salmon.
Absolute compliments to the chefs as my salmon was some of the best I've ever eaten...
Starters, mains and desserts all outstanding!! I can't think of a single negative
Everything reasonably priced with the quality it offers. Couldn't of been happier and will definitely be returning ??

Warm welcome, not what I would call "booth seating" excellent information for Celiac guest, rather noisy customer to the managers credit dealt with professionally, starter's lovely decent portion of Pork belly luckily as unsure what the steak was cooked in but not too my liking. Did ask the waitress to find out but she never came back so did not eat, so was not offered anything different or reduced bill. Asked if we would like a dessert but never shown a menu, not ideal if try to sell...considering it was a quiet evening a couple of other customers did have to ask for thier orders to be taken and drinks requested, staff could have been more attentive.
Service charge should be optional as definitely not worth what was asked.
Visited top floor for post dinner drinks, not overly impressed, tables and chairs looked quiet cheap.
An expensive night and would rather have spent my money elsewhere.

Lillyanna and Carmen really looked after us, they had a big table to deal with and all the food was correct, we weren't without a drink and the food was incredible. First visit and will most definitely be back!

The food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and the ?one and only burger? is one of the best I have had. The service was superb, very accommodating and couldn?t be more helpful throughout the entire meal. Overall a brilliant experience. Would highly recommend and will return.
