I was served by one of the most informed advisors, Paul who was so patient as i was with my very needy one year old twins. All of the staff were so accommodating and incredibly helpful providing really detailed information tailored to my specific circumstances. I would definitely request to be served by Paul in future as he was really knowledgeable and so helpful.

Went into nationwide yesterday was pleased with the time and patience of the young man sorting out the banking app on my phone and giving me lots of advice on accounts. Very friendly and helpful staff!

I left HSBC a few years ago to join Nationwide, as I felt like just another number in the system with HSBC. Nationwide have been impeccable from the get go, every time I enter the branch I am treated with respect and I feel welcome, I have had many one to one experiences with staff and all have been fantastic. It feels like it should be (almost film like). If you have an issue you actually speak to someone from your local area, with fast and prompt service. I had an issue with a scam payment on my account and it was dealt with efficiently, money back into my account before the end of the day. I also had a little thank you for been a loyal customer gesture of £50. I will always recommend Nationwide. Thank you for keeping it real and making me feel like a human not a number.

I want to praise the Nationwide in Hull . Every member iv dealt with are helpful , patient with my lack of I.T skills , friendly , look as if they want to be at work and also LOOK like they want to help you . The members at the Nationwide helped transfer my bank account over from Santander , helped put the bank app on my phone and Ren who patiently helped and advised me transfer my ISA . All the staff are so professional and helpful and are happy to personally help you . They don?t try and palm you off and get you to use a computer or a bank app like a rude short man at the Santander at Willerby.

I have rushed into town after work to catch the Hull branch before it closes at 1pm on Saturday morning the1st of March got there at 12.50pm and it is all closed up. I went on the website to check and it still said is was open. I think this is disgraceful, closing early at it is only open the forst Saturday in the month now I have to wait another month to catch them open again.

Trying to open a flexone account for my daughter, received email saying need to go in to prove identity, no problem take daughter with passport to Leeds branch, show passport, "thankyou, your card with you in 7-10 business days", today get email again saying need to pop in to prove identity, if that's the level of incompetence at the beginning, how will it work when things get really difficult

I have been with Nationwide for over 44 years and have always been happy - until this week. I transferred some money to a friend at 9pm on Monday and on Tuesday at 8am she told me it hadn't arrived. I rang the help line who knew nothing and at 11am someone rang me to say it had been blocked as 'suspicious'. I put in a complaint at the length of time it took to inform me and was told that 24 hours was the limit they had to inform the customers. I am planning on closing my accounts now.

Lovely and welcoming bank and nationwide is the absolute best bank to be with in my opinion not one single issue with them and If i have a problem they are always a call or visit away.

We have recently had to go into the branch to do a bank transfer and transfer funds. On the previous occasion a couple of months ago the gentleman who dealt with us (may have been called Paul) was so friendly and helpful. Today we dealt with a lovely lady who was also so helpful and friendly. The employees at this branch are all so nice and nothing is any trouble to them. Pleasure to go in at any time.
