I bought a new iPad from KRCS Hull store in late December 23 and the charging cable lightening connector fell apart after 3 weeks. This store refused to replace the faulty cable and tried to pass me off to Apple. This is in clear contravention of the retailers responsibility under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 which clearly states that the retailer is responsible to the buyer and it is up to them to deal with the manufacturer. Even though I pointed this out to KRCS they have ignored my email correspondence and refuse to replace the cable.I?ve now seen KRCS response to my review above to the effect that I damaged the cable, which isn?t the case, it simply came apart when I was unplugging the lightening connector. I?m now being forced to use the cable I got with my previous now defective iPad, which is over 5 years old and still not damaged, so I do know how to use these cables.I wouldn?t see the point in lying about this for an item of such small value that it would cost me much more in fuel and about half a day of my time to take the cable into Hull for KRCS to inspect. I genuinely thought a photo would suffice for companies who should value their reputation, like KRCS and Apple.It remains that I find KRCS response unacceptable, and am particularly disappointed that they seem to continue to ignore their clear responsibility under the Sale of Goods legislation.

Tried to leave a recent attempted purchase review but mysteriously I can't, so I have modified an old purchase review. I will not go into great detail as this company seem unable to deal with valid issues and have demonstrated an inability to recognise the phrase PREMIUM in their title. Apple products are more expensive and personal than other brands so the customer service should match that aspiration in all of its outlets. Having owned many Apple products since the 80's and have had extensive blue chip company involvement I feel in a reasonable position to comment. Maybe the promised call from a director may elude some recognition - that remains to be seen. Subsequently visited an Apple Centre and received the deserved recognition and service.

Satisfactory process of buying an iMac in store. Experience with staff was functional but worked ie selected a model; placed the order; was passed the iMac package to me on day of collection. Good place for minimal human interaction or surplus conversation, bit like talking to Siri but without the humour. One issue to note was failing to get through on phone over a number of days, and then failing to respond to an email. Good point was 10% discount offer that you just don't get with Apple direct.

Visited the shop the other day to upgrade my phone. The staff member Simon was very rude and could not give me a clear answer and I felt like I was bothering him with my questions. Left with my old phone.

Booked an appointment online for replacement battery. All went exactly as expected and on time. Initial emails about battery price were answered very promptly. Paperwork all by email. Perfect!
