Extremely bad, they messed up my order first making me wait 2 weeks for a delivery, then couldn't cancel the order (?!), then gave me 4l oil instead of 1l. Well, ''thank you''. Customer service 0.

Terrible. Wasted 7 weeks attempting to get a JVC hard unit fitted. My touchscreen unit was not working properly so i needed a new one. Assessed as compatible for my car on June 21 so i paid £575 and waited for the unit to arrive. 4 weeks later and it was in store. 2 more weeks for the booking date. Halfway through the installation Halfords rang me and said a part was broken and a new part had to be ordered. .6 days later the part arrived. I had to go in store to re book when i could have done this over the phone. Nearest booking date was August 26,9 weeks into the saga. I pleaded and got a booking date 3 days later. Took the car in again for the installation , and they called me later so i went in store and they told me it was not compatible to my car after all. I was given a refund plus £125 for the second installation price as compensation. It sermed they didn't know what they were doing. I wasted 7 weeks and found the experience stressful.

I needed new roof bars as I?d changed my car and knew Halfords were professional from when I purchased a set for the old car. I wasn?t disappointed, all the staff were knowledgeable and efficient helping me with my purchase. Great communication letting me know my order was ready and I returned a few days later for a fitting when the order had arrived. The roof rails were fitted quickly and the staff made sure I knew everything I needed to know about my product. Thank you Halfords

Ordered a battery and fitting service online , for the payment to be taken then refunded straight away so pending to my bank account for a few days - submitted payment again and got my booking slot - took to the clough road branch to fit battery only to be told 15 minutes after our time slot they can?t fit batteries in Minis as they are awkward ? Waste of time as Halfords knew it was a Mini following me inputting my reg plate !!

We used the Hull (Clough Road). The customer service is pretty diabolical. I say this from experience and my two visits. I purchased a bike and collected it two weeks later. The team really do not acknowledge you until you are at the till. A simple acknowledgement, eye contact, smile, hello would be amazing. They seem to focus on paper shuffling rather than people. Lots of work to be done to make this team a "customer first" service

Excellent service from the staff. Windscreen wiper didn't appear to fit and I was reluctant to force the wiper onto the wiper arm but on return to Halfords was assured by the staff that it was the correct item. Quickly sorted.
