Wasn't impressed, checked online to see if they could sell and install me a battery. Limped my car there to be told they couldn't and to go the their auto centre. Who couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks.

Don't use! Had an MOT booked in and it failed on a few bits including a small weld, fair enough. Had all the work done at an independent garage as Halfords said they couldn't do the welding. Took it back for a retest and they suddenly found something else after the vehicle not been driven (only to and from garage) , they quoted £488 for the repair of said fault. I didn't have the work done as I was due on holiday. Just had it MOT'd again at a garage more local to me and it's passed barring a bulb replacement and no mention of the suspension arms fault that Halfords had found. Dodgy practices if you ask me, trying to fleece nearly £500 out of a customer for work that doesn't need doing! Disgrace

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional service . We book our car only for servicing as the reaceptionist Gemma refused to take MOT on the same day . We booked it only for servicing at 8.30 on 14th September , we left the car on 14th first thing in the morning and then receive a call from Gemma at 4pm to pick the car as the car is blocking parking space and informed us that nothing has been done , no servicing . Thereafter we called and told that we are unhappy with the service . The manager apologized politely explained the circumstances and immediately booked car for servicing and Mot on the next day 15th August . The manager called us on 15th morning twice to let us know what parts might need changing and the prices that needed approval , everything was sorted and he also mentioned that the car will pass MOT, when we went to collect the car Gemma told us that only servicing is done and nothing else was done , no approved parts fitted and no MOT done . The most horrible experience we have had from Halfords . I suggest you to avoid this Halfords service centre as they don?t live up to their word as promised . Very unprofessional and big time liars .

Amazing Garage! Always willing to help with the car and gives 5* work every time. Lovely staff who take the extra minute to explain everything in detail and ensure the car is always 100% before handing it back over. Been coming here for years and never an issue

Fabulous service helped out with tyre that was a potential replacement. Solved the issue and refunded the new tyre that was purchased. Thanks Gemma and Grant brilliant service!

It would have been 0 starts if it was possible.
Car booked in on a Thursday 1130 and told we would be called. No call came so called at 1600 to say they been short staffed and not got it done. Friday ni call again also called in at 1200 to say just getting it done and would call us. Called us at 1730 to say they can't get the oil filter off and it not ready. Took a taxi to work on the Saturday with a promise it would be sorted and I'd be called. Nope, called myself at 0930for them to say it would be done today just before closing, no good as I need it. Was told they would see what they could do. Got a call at 1200 it was done. Not a great experience at all do not use halfords for a service

Worst experience I've ever had. After my first visit, I was told my car tracking is done but the steering wheel needed to be centred so I was given another appointment to fix this issue. After waiting for a full day, I tried to call them at 3pm and I was told they were still working on the car so before closing I decided to go to the garage because I didn't receive a phone call about the progress of the work. I then had to leave the garage with my car in a worse state than when I brought it in. They offered a refund and they gave me a print out of the tracking diagnosis and result but the information on the print out was incorrect (time of work and vehicle details). I will not be returning and I definitely will not be recommending this service to anyone
The 1 star is only for the lady in reception who tried to help

If I could zero stars I would. They took the booking for a tyre fitting ( and charged £4 extra on top for it being 12pm). When my daughter arrived, they didn't have the tyre and told her it may be in stock today. No phone call was given to prevent her from driving 30 miles on a dodgy tyre. They also tried to put her off from having a refund as it would take up to 10 days 'and what's the point in that?'. Shocking service. Avoid and use a real tyre place.

Booked car in for diagnostics and and whilst my car was there I said could you do a service .. dropped car of at 8 had no word from them till 5 did a service and on the diagnostic which was why I took my car there in the 1st place said dunno whats wrong MAY need a new battery. I could of googled that so asked for the report said they don't have one for me absolute waste of time and money

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Car booked in for Thursday or the schools holidays. I arrange a day to stay at home to have the car serviced when I can be without it for a day. After waiting until 11.30 I call them to be told they have been busy and won?t be able to collect my car. Very frustrating but these things happen so I arrange for it to be collected on the following Monday on the basis the car is returned that day by 3pm. They collect at 9am as agreed and I remind the driver that it is very important that the car is back by 3pm as I have to do the school run. I then get a call at 2.30 to say the car is going to be late because of parts availability. They claim they have not got the oil filter. But of course they have drained the oil!!!!! When I ask if they are going to pay for an Uber of course they can?t do that because it?s a lease car. I now don?t know if I will have my car back to get my wife to and from work. Your customer service is shocking, and some basics of car maintenance?.don?t drain the oil if you don?t have a new filter?although I think this was a lie. When I finally get the car back look how they left the mats!!!
