“Was met by the manager Paul who is vastly knowledgable in Audio/Visual. On my first visit he helped me navigate through what would be best suited to my budget and room needs. I eventually opted for a full 5.1.1 Dali speaker system which Paul recommended would pair perfectly with My Denon receiver previously sold by Richer Sounds. Even though they didn’t have my subwoofer in stock at the time I was offered the same sub in a different colour as a loan to get me set up until such time my sub was delivered to my door by Paul himself. An outstanding service to provided to which I will be returning if and when I decide to upgrade. Do not walk by this shop if you are serious about having the best sound and vision affordable to you. Very friendly and expertly knowledgable staff that great you from walking in the door.On my second visit to look for a receiver upgrade, I found the shop rather busy, I waited a short while and was informed someone would be with me shortly, understanding I waited a little while longer but could see they were busy still so thought I would come back later knowing I would be in good hands. I was parked outside the shop, within seconds I was greeted again by Paul the manager who couldn’t be more apologetic for the delay which hadn’t actually bothered me at all considering he was with a customer. Paul spared me a few minutes to inquire as to the purpose of my visit and gave me great advice of an upgrade from my Denon AVC 2200W. My girlfriend didn’t understand my affinity with richer sounds and bought me the recommended receiver from another supplier as a gift. My pint being that I have always received sound advice and greeted warmly by Paul and his excellent staff so it confuses me as to why another reviewer on here would write a bad review regarding customer service at Hull Richer sounds when I have received A1 service here time and time again. As a personal message to Paul, your staff are a credit to you and as such I will continue to shop and take your expert advice.. Next on my list are Dali Rubikon 6 as an upgrade from the Dali Zensor 7..”

“Nice mix between movies, music, clothing, books and other items. Store's a little crammed in at the front which wouldn't be great for wheelchairs or buggies when busy. Staff are friendly and helpful helping people find or order what they need. Everything in its place. My daughter loves the t-shirts and bought a few but they don't hold up well with the tumble drier (we're not known for great weather here are we ?). One of her favourite stores to look around. Nice to see it surviving on the high street ♥️”

“The CEX store in whitefriergate is a excellent shop to buy and sell games and dvd's. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I went in looking for a particular DVD which I could not find, I asked a member of staff who searched their system only to inform me they didn't have it. She then searched the system to see if they had it in any of the other shops, informing me they had one in their prospect center shop, so I was able to go and get what I'd been looking for. It's good that they take the trouble to try and help out their customers. I always receive excellent service here, they also had some very nice top quality cameras and lenses in at very reasonable prices. A great shop definitely recommended.”

“Big shopping centre with a large selection of things to do, including a cinema, restaurants, and an arcade. Great variety of shops and two main car parks. Has good disabled accessibility with lifts, a ramp entrance at one side, disabled toilets, and wide entrances to all shops. Right next to the station and is easy to get to.”

“My console didn't pass the test unfortunately due to an issue with a controller.However, the guy serving me was very friendly and overall a cool guy.Top notch customer service and quick time to check the item .”

“the reason it is not 5* is that KRCS were let down by the warehouse side of the process. All went well at the store with the order being placed on the Friday and as the item was showing in stock delivery at the store for collection expected Monday or Tuesday of the following week. This didn't happen. I contacted the store on the Friday asking for an update and was informed that it hadn't been shipped due to "getting lost in the system" at the warehouse end of the process. It eventually arrived the following Monday. I have to say what I found a disappointing was that even the store didn't chase it up until 3 days after the latest expected arrival. However there is obviously an issue at the warehouse side of the process if an item that is ordered "getting lost in the system". Don't make my mistake and leave it hoping that someone will chase up the expected delivery date, you will only be disappointed. If they give you a day chase it on that day if they haven't confirmed delivery.All that said the staff at Hull KRCS are knowledgeable, personable and very helpful. I would shop there again.”

“Have bought PS4 games several times over the last couple of years, after buying a second hand PS4 from VGEX in Hull which is sadly now closed. This CEX store is smaller and has less of a range than some like the Hull City Centre one, but seems okay to me, never had any problems with items I have bought.”

“Very helpful staff even when Very busy, bought a new fridge freezer which we are very impressed with. Delivered by two very helpful gentleman who had to manoeuvre a very large fridge through the house out through the patio doors and through the back door Into the kitchen, it was quite a tight fit.Thanks guys”
