I attended my sister?s wedding here, and it was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. The venue itself was stunning, with beautiful décor and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, the hospitality was outstanding, and the service was seamless ? every little detail was taken care of with such care and professionalism. Everything flowed effortlessly, making the whole day stress-free and magical. It was truly the best night ever, and I?m certain it wouldn?t have been as incredible without the amazing team at Dunedin House. Their kindness, attention to detail, and dedication made the day unforgettable. I couldn?t recommend them highly enough.

Dunedin was the first and only wedding venue we visited, but from the moment we arrived, we knew it was the one. From the welcoming staff to the beautiful grounds, delicious food, gorgeous guest rooms and thoughtful details throughout the venue, everything felt just right.
Beth, Chloe, Helen and the team at Dunedin were an absolute joy to work with. They are friendly, calm, and super organised, they made the whole process feel so seamless and enjoyable. Their genuine care for each couple and every guest who walks through the door really shines through ? they truly want your day to be as magical as possible.
The venue itself is stunning ? the perfect balance of space and intimacy, allowing all our favourite people to be together without feeling overwhelmed. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, so we made full use of the gorgeous grounds during both the ceremony and into the evening. The photos captured with all that vibrant greenery are something we?ll treasure forever.
If you?re looking for a beautiful, intimate venue run by a team who truly care, we can?t recommend Dunedin enough. They go above and beyond to make your wedding day unforgettable.

I was there for my daughter's wedding. It was fabulous -Beth, Helen and the rest of the staff were attentive and helpful. I didn't stay onsite but most of my family did and the rooms were lovely. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful day.

Overall a good place for an overnight bed and breakfast.
There are no staff on duty on check in or during the evening so there is no bar or other public spaces.
The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom well set out (Silver Room). Breakfast was very good and the lady server was friendly and efficient.

Always a fabulous experience
Although we didn?t stay tonight we went for steak night
Beautiful tender steak with all the trimmings
I?m gluten free but chef adapted a gorgeous haddock and prawn Thermidor which was full of fish and plump prawns. Very much appreciated
Then desserts of lemon tart and cherry roulade
All the food plus a couple of drinks came to £67 so reasonably priced for such quality food
The surroundings are always spot on and the staff are exceptional

We had the exclusive hire of Dunedin to celebrate our children's baptism on the 4th May. Beth was incredible from start to finish and really brought our plans to life. From arrival drinks and canapes to the evening gala buffet the quality was exceptional. We had a magician, caricaturist, bouncy castle, live musician and evening DJ and the team ensured everything flowed seamlessly, looking after each one throughout the day, allowing us to enjoy the celebrations.We had the 11 guest rooms and these were beautifully decorated, all of the guests commented what a great nights sleep they had.Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Dunedin and the breakfast the next morning was testimony to this. The communication throughout the planning stage and on the day was incredible and I would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful venue to anyone looking to celebrate.
Big thank you to Beth and Helen and the wonderful bar and catering team who made our celebrations a day to remember.

5 Stars! Having recently stayed at Dunedin in the Cottage the night before my sister's wedding and the night of, I cannot highly recommend this venue enough. The staff were absolutely amazing in supporting my sister's big day, and took any stress out of the day whatsoever. Would highly recommend Dunedin to any of my contacts as a wedding venue, cottage and overall venue to visit.

A perfectly orchestrated wedding that surpassed our expectations.
We had a dream and Dunedin and the staff really delivered. We felt well cared for with staff truly listening to our personal preferences.
The food was exceptional so a special mention to the chefs. Stables room is an excellent honeymoon suite - spacious and cool.
Finally, but probably most importantly, Beth was excellent. Ultimately, her knowledge and organisation made the dreams reality.
Thank you Dunedin. You will always have a place in our heart.

We got married here Feb 2025 and had a fabulous experience. We didn't want a huge wedding (40 day guests and 80 in the evening) and this beautiful house felt like the perfect intimate venue for us. Some places we viewed felt cavernous and we thought they'd look empty even with all our guests. Dunedin felt cosy without being cramped, with some nice large spaces to mingle and some quiet nooks and crannies for guests to sit if they fancied some peace and quiet. The decor is lovely throughout. We added a few personal touches of our own but it didn't feel like we needed to add much. We got married in February so we didn't make much use of the outdoor space, but the grounds were gorgeous. Beth was so helpful guiding us through the planning process. Plenty of flexibility offered with our decoration choices and drink choices. We had quite a short engagement so everything was planned with a lot more speed than might be usual, but this was never a problem. The day itself was so well orchestrated, everything went perfectly. Beth and the team made sure everything ran smoothly all day. Great service, would recommend.

I was a guest at a wedding. I am gluten free with an onion allergy. I was looked after extremely well before the event and during.
The chef contacted me prior to the wedding to ensure they knew exactly what I could and couldn't have. When they served my meals they were placed on different plates to the rest of the wedding party, this allowed everyone to recognise that my meals were separate and different to the rest.
Could I take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the chef for a lovely meal. It is not often I can enjoy a meal without any repercussions. I enjoyed eating the meals and they were delicious.
Please pass on my thanks to the chef and to all the staff who ensured I was looked after extremely well, even when you all had such a busy day.

If you're a guest you can't park outside, you have to leave your car up a farm track across a main road. So don't wear nice shoes! Drinks overpriced, food aveage and offered in a dark area lit only by candles, so take a torch!
Not impressed!!
