Poor customer service regarding missing part. 3 working days just to hear back and not actually sort the issue. Tried to put forward a complaint not even a department for this, nobody wants to help you - just ?I?ll get someone to call you back? then nothing. Really bad customer service.

10/10 for Amelia. Me and the partner went looking for a sofa and ended up walking out with a sofa and a bed. Amelia has a great sense of humour, efficient and friendly. Credit to you. ? Thank you Amelia.

Already left in Trust pilot, however I'm making sure people are aware of rip offs.
My wife went to buy a sofa bed for one of the spare rooms. Everything was going ok until being informed it was going to be £129 to deliver. Not even allowed to collect unless you pay in full?
The reply was even better from the store after the review.
Our delivery team assemble everything when they deliver??
So now suites are coming in flat pack are they?
We got sorted from another retailer including a delivery charge of £35.
Shop around don't get robbed.

As a first-time buyer, I came to DFS genuinely excited to invest in my first piece of proper furniture. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I wasn?t taken seriously. As a younger customer, I was clearly overlooked in favor of older shoppers, and staff seemed dismissive and uninterested in helping me.
But the real issue was the constant lying and misleading information. I was promised certain delivery dates, told items were in stock when they weren?t, and reassured again and again that everything was ?on track.? None of it was true. Every time I followed up, I got a different excuse ? from vague supplier issues to random ?delays? no one could explain. It honestly felt like they were just making it up as they went along.
Worse still, no one ever took accountability. I wasn?t offered any proper updates unless I chased them down myself, and even then, it felt like I was being brushed off. At no point did I feel like a valued customer ? just a number on a screen they could lie to and forget.
DFS really needs to do better, especially when dealing with young buyers trying to establish themselves. We?re not stupid, and we deserve the same honesty and respect as anyone else. I will never shop here again, and I?ll be warning others to avoid the same experience.

Great experience from start to finish. So glad we went to DFS after cancelling our order with SCS (who changed the delivery date for a corner unit 4 times!).
DFS had lots of choice in the showroom and no pushy sales staff. We were given a delivery date and the sofa was delivered on time, as promised!
Great quality, good prices, brilliant sales team. We're very happy and would definitely recommend.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with DFS and feel compelled to share my concerns.
We ordered a sofa that, upon delivery, could not fit into our home. At no point during the purchase were we informed of the option to have the same sofa delivered in separate parts. Had this been explained to us, we would have chosen that option. Instead, we were assured by the salesperson that the sofa dimensions were similar to our existing sofa and that it would fit with no issue.
After the failed delivery, we visited the store and were told it would cost an additional £250 to reorder the sofa in separate parts, plus another £250 due to a price difference. On top of that, they insisted on a £220 cancellation fee if we chose not to proceed. We felt backed into a corner and pressured to make an immediate financial decision?something we were not prepared for.
The delivery team?s attitude was also disappointing. They were negative from the moment they arrived, stating the sofa wouldn?t fit without even attempting the delivery. It felt like they were eager to finish their day rather than provide good service.
Overall, this experience has been stressful and upsetting, especially after waiting over six weeks for the sofa. We feel we were mis-sold a product due to a lack of proper information and faced unprofessional service throughout. I would not recommend DFS to anyone based on this experience.

awful useless company, had nothing but issues on our sofa, £2900 sofa come with green pigments from factory defect, 2 months still no replacement, poor stitching and there's a hole. and a nail looses in the frame which stabbed into me. avoid these !!!.
