Would avoid this place at all cost.Went in explained what I was looking for and took me to a range of sofas that was nothing like I wanted when I tried to explain again what I wanted the person dealing with me was unprofessional rude and would not listen ?. I've got fibromyalgia and tried to explain the range of sofas he showed was not suitable as was to low for me but wouldn't listen I would of gave a zero star but unable to

I can't rate my experience today more highly. From the moment I stepped foot in the store until the moment I left I felt like a valued customer. I fell in love with a Plush sofa, Accent chair, cushions and extra large footstool bundle I had seen the previous week but it was no longer available as a bundle. My sales advisor Zardasht went above and beyond to meet my needs, calling around various other stores to help complete my order when part of it wasn't available at the store I visited. Nothing was too much trouble and he searched for the best deal I could get without ever once trying to force a hard sell. Zardasht was knowledgeable, patient, extremely friendly and is an absolute credit to DFS. I highly recommend DFS but a special mention has to go to Zardasht from the 'St Andrews Quay Hull' store.

We only had this sofa for 2 weeks before it started looking like this. Reported it to DFS, they sent someone out and said there's nothing wrong with it. Went to see the manager and he said the same. The sofa looks 20 years old. DfS said they will send an independent person to look at it and if we're still not happy we can use the furniture ombudsman which we have now found out are both paid by DFS obviously they will side with DFS.I urge anyone looking to buy a sofa to avoid this company. Absolutely disgusting. We will be taking this further as these cowboys shouldn't be allowed to get away with selling such bad quality.

Sofa delivered damaged with sections in the back that appear to have been chewed by an animal, as well as white hairs in places, there are frays in the fabric. I do not believe this piece is brand new.Waiting for response from Hull store. Disgusting.Update - had to go in store and beg them to collect sofa due to the sanitation risk (Rats? Bedbugs? Fleas?!), had to chase and pester for updates, ended up asking for refund, still waiting.Edit - took weeks of chasing via email and phone to get refun Poor communication, dreadful service. Avoid!

Ordered cushions to match our sofa, took over a year for them to deliver ANYTHING, after being called almost weekly once past the 3 month delivery estimate. They then delivered the wrong items, we have been calling them every week since, over 6 months now, to get a refund and have them collected, always told ?someone from head office has to call you back?, they NEVER do. Absolutely disgusting. Worst experience I?ve ever had with a retailer. They have essentially stolen £400 from me. I will never buy anything from them ever again. Avoid.

Man called Matthew was extremely rude in the collecting window telling me I should be concentrating on what he?s doing rather than talking to my significant other. As someone who used to work for McDonald?s for numerous years I know this is no where near the customer service standard that should be met with every customer. It has really disappointed me seeing someone doing a job I used to love with so little respect for customers.

I ordered one simple cup of tea - 25 minutes wait and 30 orders behind the queue I decided to give up and leave my drink behind. Totally under staffed and truly disgusting service. For one simple cup of tea. Won?t be going back as this establishment is clearly badly managed.
