After being prescribed some medication and told to collect it from here by my Doctor, I handed my prescription to the women at the counter and asked to collect it. I was told that they dont have it and dont know when it will be in stock. I asked if they could order it in or how i go about getting the medicine and just got told they dont know. She was the most unhelpful person ever, such bad service.

Absolutely pathetic customer service at this place. I am never going into a Boots again. It is not just this place- I have had multiple terrible experiences from Boots. Awful online and in-store services.

Awful staff. They belittle you when you ask for medicine they don't have. Then start rattling a load of jargon at you as if we should know the inner workings of the nhs. Particularly horrible women working at the moment 22.12.23 at 330pm.It will be a good day for Willerby when this awful store gets taken over.

Everything is bewilderingly slow despite the staff never seeming to stop moving. I can only assume it's because there aren't enough of them.

I went in for my prescription, a day after it had been sent by the doctor, and it wasn't ready. I was asked if it was urgent! Well, it's medicine from the doctor, of course it's important that I get it! I was asked to come back tomorrow. Poor service!

Closing between 1:00 pm and 3:00pm each day causes unnecessary queues and with limited people allowed in the shop results in people having to queue in the rain like today for 30 minutes of more.

MY WIFE TOOK A PRESCRIPTION IN FOR URGENT EYE DROPS AND WAS REFUSED DISPENSING IT. THE PRESCRIPTION WAS FROM HULL ROYAL INFIRMARY, SO BOOTS SAID GO BACK THERE, AS THRY WOULDNT DO IT. THE HOSPITAL TOLD ME ANY PHARMACY COULD DISPENSE IT. ONE DAY LATER WITHOUT URGENT TREATMENT, WE MANAGED TO GET IT DISPERSED AT A DIFFERENT PHARMACY DOWN THE ROAD. THANKS BOOTS, YOU NEED TO GET YOUR STAFF TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE TURNNG THEM AWAY, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH BOOTS WILLERBY, BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU IT WILL BE THE LAST. DO NT USE THEM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. IF I COULD RATE THEM ?0? I WOULD.

Poor service. Sign blocking the door saying only 1 allowed in at a time which is fine except they've moved the shelving to block the view of the tills so you can't tell how many are in. Then they shout at you unprofessionally if you go in to check.Often prescriptions aren't in and they ask if you want it ordering in. Surely that's what I was doing when I put my prescription in, so yes I've already asked you to order it in

Went in today to pick up my prescription, the extremely rude middle aged blonde woman hadnoeven processed the prescription after me giving it two days to collect. After she couldn't actually find my prescription on the computer because firstly she put the wrong name in and secondly refused to scan the barcode and insisted on typing the barcode number in (which she once again got wrong). Finally after she'd put the correct details in she returned and told me I'll have to come back tomorrow as she didn't have any of my items. No apology and then said "make sure you come after 4". Absolutely shocking service. Maybe they should put the younger ladies on front of house who in past experience have far better customer service and basic manners!

Witnessed a frail elderly lady this afternoon being told to come back tomorrow because the pharmacy policy is to process prescriptions in 24 hours. They had her prescription because they told her "we've just received it but......". Show some compassion! I wonder what the CQC would make of it

Went in for a prescription. Fine they didn't have it after I paid but the lady who told me they didn't have it and did my refund was so rude! Couldn't believe the attitude on her after I asked for a refund. No manners and made me and other customers visibly uncomfortable. She was middle aged, dark blonde hair and a miserable face. Not impressed.

We had to get some emergency antibiotics from our doctor, who sent them to Boots, Willerby, and the pharmacist and staff were very kind, helpful and polite when I rang and collected them, so there was no delay.
