“The second Waterstones visited this week. This branch, in Hull city centre, is bright and spacious with plenty of room for browsing.Like other Waterstones the books and other products are attractively displayed so that you want to spend hours in there; there’s no sense of being rushed to make a purchase -staff are around but let you browse at your own pace.I love the staircase up to the first floor-more books, gifts, a busy cafe and seating area snd the toilet. The staff in the cafe are very welcoming and there’s a good selection of drinks, sandwiches and cakes.I tried the cappuccino cake (delicious) and had a very good pot of Yorkshire tea.Well worth a visit if you are in Hull city centre.”

“Our first time visiting Bar 55 and we will definitely be back! Fab cool music (at last!!) and actually- despite my Grey Goose or go home mentality- the Dead bod Vodka is really good I would, actually, order it again! The bar staff know their stuff and mix a great cocktail…thank you!”

“Shop was nice enough, had a bit of a bad smell tho.Was a bit over priced but not the end of the world.Staff was very polite- however I was served by someone who really didn't know what he was talking about, not really what was expected when going into one of these shop. It wouldn't stop me from going in again but I will make sure that next time I know exactly what I'm wanting”

“It was great. The customer service was good. The place is spacious. There are books on fiction (crime, detective, sci-fi, novels), children books and non-fiction (classics, psychology, sociology, health, faith, Britain, history, poetry, drama, cookery, etc.) books to buy. There are clothes for all ages, jewelry, DVD movies, celebration cards, shoes, etc. to buy. The staff are friendly and helpful. A great place to volunteer.”

“Friendly helpful staff and a good selection of stuff. The shop's wheelchair accessible (level access and aisles wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, though sadly the doors aren't automatic, but they aren't too heavy and the staff are very helpful and will open the doors for you). Open from really early (6am) which is helpful too.”

“I don't regularly shop here, but when I do, the customer service is pretty good and it's full of all-sorts of things including good quality clothing and accessories. Some of the staff here are volunteers that not only give up their time to help out, but work very hard which I think is pretty awesome of them and this is why I donate to Scope.”

“Long established as stationary retailer, the choice of products is extensive here. This store is well laid out making finding your item fairly straight forward. There is also a Post Office branch in store.Only downside? Quality of products good but you do end up paying what seems higher prices...”

“Luvly helpful staff on a q word Wednesday morning. No wait to speak of. ??BUTT BEWARE!?? Google maps sends you the wrong way round the back of the building where you can't get in. Make sure to enter through the shopping centre.”
