Me and my grandma stay here often and always have a great time! Great food available in the hungry horse restaurant and bar attached with good portions. The beds were a little more lumpy then last time but wasn?t too bad when sleeping provided tea and coffee and a good warm shower.

This was our fourth stay here. We do so because our stays are invariably short and because it is much cheaper than the alternatives. As we never stay more than a night or two we can put up wiht the deficincies. However the rooms are clean and there's plenty of hot water for showering and baths. The staff are fine. The beds are comfortable (for a night or two) and the towels very large. The downsides are, however, a worry as the place is slowly falling apart. The soap dish in the bathroom this time was hanging on by one screw; one of the bedroom walls needed attention; the sofa that was in the room previusly wasn't there anymore, as was eviodent by the decor of the wall. The seating in the restaurant was tired and getting on for grubby. The carpets were looking a bit threadbare. Breakfast was adequate. Hots were cooked to order but the quality was a bit dubious edible but ust about. Selection of yoghurts (fine) and bread (ditto). Fruit was getting close to its use-by date. The croissants and pastries were, well, just about OK. As I say it's OK for the money paid but it needs a bit of investment. (The Hungry Horse restaurant were we had dinner though was fine. Service was a bit slow but the steaks we both had were pretty good: very good value for money and of decent quality. with plentiful accompaniments. Desserts were OK. We had a 20% off voucher which made the meal even better. As I said service was a bit slow, probably because the place was full wiht folk queueing to get in. Recession? What recession?) I'd actually give the hotel a 'very good' if it weren't for the slight shabbiness now evident. But for a night or two and providing you're not overly fussy it's not a bad place to stay.

Everything was fine here, it is like an American style motel. It is all on one floor, the rooms are fine, perfectly clean and adequate. They are a bit tired and dated, but cleanliness is more important than anything else. The breakfast was good. Only downside is I had to wait for the night Peter to let me in after 11;00. Makes you feel like a school boy coming in late.

We were in the area due to visit family when we needed hotel accommodation due to change in travel plans. The Kingstown Hotel is a little tired ie the rooms could do do with updating. On the other hand don't let this put you off. The rooms were clean and bed and bedding comfortable. We were right near the end of a corridor so no disturbance from other guests. The staff are friendly and helpful and able to assist with queries. We opted for breakfast which was cold buffet style with cooked food to order. I am very much in favour of this as less waste. Staff happy to try and help with additional dining requests. We stayed for five nights as a couple but even as a loan female traveller I would be happy to stay here. Hotel is a couple of minutes walk from a supermarket which also has a petrol station and around 15/20mins drive to Hull city centre.

The doors outside room 11 bang all night, our daughter had to stay elsewhere the 2nd night as she couldn't sleep due to the noise waking her up every hour. Breakfast was disgusting, uncooked meat, so much fat on the bacon. Very expensive for what it is, rooms tired and need decorating/updating. Premier Inn 1000% better value for money

We came on the 18th August for dinner, we went mainly for the wacky warehouse for the children. It was busy (expected as it was 12:30) Ashleigh served us and was brilliant. Really helpful and friendly. Thumbs up all round couldn't fault our experience!
