I live in a local village so going up to Kingswood Asda and then visiting shops on the rest of the retail park is always a good few hours. There are lots of plus points with this Asda-large carpark, petrol station, recycling area, good toilet facilities?I don?t like the fact that the cafe is not an Asda cafe, there are more and more self service points rather than manned tills and some of the trolleys are well past their useful date. The first floor is reached by escalator or lift and is a well stocked George catering from babies upwards. Lots of absolutely gorgeous baby clothes at very good prices, school uniforms, men?s wear in addition to ladies wear and shoes mean that there?s something for everyone. Good range of sizes. On the ground floor is everything else: magazines, electrical goods, cards, kitchen and bedding items, the bakery, plus all of the fresh and frozen food, plants and flowers? There?s also a good balance of brands and Asda own brand so you can make considerable savings simply by trying own brand items.A good size store with lovely, helpful staff and a good range of products.

Busy as usual but always plenty of choice, helpful staff who have my respect and sympathy for dealing with not very nice members of the public !

Wow just wow. Living in small village with few facilities in local town this place offers everything you need under one roof. Great clothing upstairs at reasonable prices.

Rude lady at the cigarette kiosk. Shouting at Mr across the store like I'm a 5 year old.

A nice supermarket.Very good bus connections with a very small interchange.Very large carpark with a fuel station and a collection area for on line orders you want to collect.Pleasingly nice wide isles in the store usual staples of the modern supermarket are on site including a bakery.I am not too keen on the small trolleys, wondered if they were for children at first

So I picked some snack this morning just to save time from buying snack at lunch time. I sat to have the snack-caramel biscuits as they called it and I just took a bite. The taste wasn't so good so I looked at the date and realised it was due 15/11. I rushed back to try and return it...the person I met took me to customer service. In my mind I thought when you return out of date item the first option is to ask you to pick another one. No form of apology as per time wasted.Well I went to customer service and got told they don't accept out of date items without receipt. I said I wasn't thinking the item on the shelf will be out of date. This is not a cloth where you keep your receipts incase they don't fit. I shower the debit as I paid with my card, they said I can't get refund without receipt. The next person said another option is to put icard a gift card . I was told is policy..and am like what if I don't want to shop here? They said that's policy.I refused the gift card cos you can't give me conditions on how to shop or spend.I guess I trusted ASDA so much and didn't bother checking the date.Ensure to check the date on edible items cos they don't just care...
