After queuing behind four people at the only two checkouts open on a busy Sunday lunchtime, the operator was not very friendly, busy talking to another member of staff just leaning on the barrier chatting away as if no customers around. Of course checking my receipt later she's scanned two items twice. Messaged Asda on FB messenger as requested,no reply. £3-70 down.

Delivery service from this store is pathetic. Drivers frequently turn up early (recently over an hour, interrupting my working hours) with no notification. The delivery manager simply confirms that they are supposed to call the customer first, but gives no reason why this almost never happens. So many items missing it's virtually pointless trying to plan meals as you will end up stuck. At least it's reasonably straightforward to get a refund on the frequent off/short dated items.

14/12/24 around 8.30 am click and collect service, Hessle Store, Hull: blonde, middle aged lady, extremely helpful and nice, made sure I received my complete order, she deserves a medal to be so amazing during this time. The other lady was also very nice. (unfortunately I don't know their names, hopefully they will get recognition). Well done!

Now I get that it can be busy. What i don't get is being told by the basket shopping police that I can't possibly use a self service till for trolleys when I have a basket. And I have to got back into the basket queue. Bit of context. Large queue waiting to use the self service basket tills. Empty trolley tills. Merry bloody Christmas Asda. Be better. Be more customer focused.

Very abrupt and grumpy staff. Item price different from label in Isle when scanned at self check out. Staff member was rude and abrupt when asked to confirm. No customer service skills at all!

Went to the cafe Thursday 28th Nov at 11.25am. Went to order 2 breakfast items to be told by the not so friendly lady they had no breakfast items left! Not acceptable, do they not sell Eggs, Bacon, sausages etc on the shop floor any more? Absolutely laughable! ??

Lying staff at self serving tills, they tell you they cannot enter quantity for multiple items, another tells you there to busy, when theres 6 of them standing around chatting and another tells me they don't do it because of security. To cap it off another young member of staff cancels my order and tells me I'm not having my shopping.
Utter lies and laziness. Hardly any wonder Asda are loosing market share with customer service levels so poor.
They obviously think customers are stupid and like being lied to.
Good luck to the equity company who brought Asda, you'll need it with such poor standards in house.

I called in the Asda Hessle to get a prescription filled on my way home! Lisa, who was behind the counter, was busy sorting through some paperwork but not once did she acknowledge me, ask me to wait while she did whatever she was doing - no, she totally ignored me for a full five minutes! I walked out and went elsewhere. I will never set foot in that shop ever again!

Worst asda ive ever been to, never stocked, ever. Food is rotten and often out of date, clearly need more staff, stop doing home deliverys and just stock the shelves.

Poor re-stocking of some products. Horrendous self scan tills. Errors galore. Inattentive staff at these tills. Prices vary week to week like a rollercoaster. Consistent lower prices are my preference.
