Went for food, they had veggie options (not on the main menu but they did have 4 options). Food was excellent and the service was friendly. Great that they allow dogs too. Large carpark out back and they allow campers in

Just had beers, staff very friendly.I visited again through Feb this year. I was made to feel very welcome buy the owners and staff. Food was fantastic especially the Sunday Carvery.Great pub/Hotel.

We didn't stay in the rooms but did eat there. Wow, the food was excellent!Mega burgers, for the carnivores and vegetarian saag pies and a mushroom & brie pie. Thank you ?

The Victoria is a nice pub. Excellent range of beers, lager and cider. the staff are friendly and welcoming, it's often very busy as it is very popular for food. There is a large customer car park behind the pub.Nearby activities: It's close to Hornsea Old Town, and there is a nice beach and nearby Hornsea mere , a large lake where you can hire rowing boats.Walkability: There are lots of pubs within walking distance.Noteworthy details: Hornsey mere, one of the largest lakes in the UK, is very close by and you can hire a rowing boat

We just had the most amazing meal at the Victoria!!! Pub grub at its best!! The steak was cooked beautifully the prawns were delightful and I could have eaten a whole plate of the greens on their own! Thoroughly recommend a visit!

I stayed at The Victoria after it had just been renovated. The pub has a great atmosphere, staff are lovely and can?t do enough for you. The food has improved beyond recognition, really good quality at a great price. So much choice too.The rooms were lovely and clean, newly refurbished and very comfortable.I would definitely recommend a stay.

I really don't have any words. We checked in and were taken to our room (king-size room). Firstly, the room smelt of paint, not a great start, but then we sat on the bed and the mattress just sank and you could feel every single spring and then we had to look and oh my god the mattress was stained but not only 1 but both as it was to single mattress pushed together. We couldn't stay so we went straight down the stairs and saw the manager, he was willing to refund our payment but refused to refund our deposit.I can honestly say I have never stayed in such a horrible room. So not only did it take me 3 hours to get to the area, I then had a 3 hour drive home.Will not be recommending

Amazing food and plenty of it.My compliments to the chef.If i didnt know better i would have said gordon ramsay was in the kitchen.Bar staff and waitreses very helpful and freindly.And good selection of beers wines and spirits.Realy nice restaurant area.And welcoming bar area.Highly recommend.Thank you to all who worked 17/02/24

My husband and I stayed over for two nights in Room 3 (King size bed)Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Matt & Emma were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They weren't there when we arrived but Jane, who was on duty at the time made us feel most welcome.In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we've booked to stay againWalkability: You can walk quite easily into Hornsea Town centre. Quite a few shops to have a look in. Hornsea Freeborn isn't too far away by car
