I called the surgery today with a non urgent skin problem on my face. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful and suggested I took a photograph of the rash and sent me a link to be able to do this. A couple of hours later I had a message from the GP who had prescribed some medication and sent it to the pharmacy. Shortly after, I also received a phone call from the same receptionist asking me if I had received the message. We are very lucky to have such a pleasant and efficient practice in Hornsea, thank you to all concerned.

I was on holiday in Hornsea for a month and also between moving houses from Essex to Leeds when sadly I had a bad accident and ended up in Hull hospital for 2 weeks. The aftercare fell onto Eastgate Medical Center in Hornsea ( I had to register them as my new clinic as they weren?t my regular Doctors). I had to contact them on several occasions and ended up speaking with a lady called Sarah who was excellent. She was kind, caring but most importantly heard what I needed through a midst of policies and procedures. Sarah on both occasions made sure that I was able to access all that I needed in an easy - well the best possible way for me. I really appreciated her efficiency, her attitude and her willingness to help me. Brilliant Patient care - thank you Sarah

Doctors don?t take you seriously. Always up to 50 minutes late! Had many misdiagnosis? that?s resulted in hospital treatment! Actually watched one doctor Google my symptoms.

Terrible attitudes and shocking service from this doctors practice. Took days and hours of many, many calls to get an appointment and urgently required correct medicine prescribed. We were on holiday and doctor took to google, as had no idea what to prescribe us. Wouldn't call our doctors back home to get confirmation from our doctors for correct medicine, as doctors would not take our word for it. Avoid if you need any treatment and drive to Beverley hospital, as will be far easier and quicker, if you have a car. Will also save a lot of stress and upset, especially when on holiday.

Rang today to see Doc. Have pain in chest but not bad. Wanted to see doc to check ok. Told full up cant see doc and to ring back tomm. So much for customer care.

Rude, grumpy staff. Drs that have no clue on the difference between medicines and zero clinical knowledge. If you require medication that you're allergic too.. this is the best place to come!Best avoid at all costs

There are many great and wonderful compassionate doctors practicing in hornsea eastgate medical group one particular doctor that stands out to me as being excellent is the wonderful doctor Griffiths who has really helped me so much with my terrible back problems I've got I will always be very greatfull for his kindness and compassion , thankyou ?

During 2021 I have found the need to use my GP practice more than before and due to the current global pandemic I expected there to be delays and maybe even a slightly poorer service than before. Well I was wrong. This practice, under very extreme pressure, has been absolutely outstanding. From receptionists, to nurses, to pharmacy and the Dr's. I am thankful we have such a good service in our town.
