Not from the area went in quiz night which was a surprise really friendly staff and customers. Beer was good with plenty of choice. Play your cards right didn't get a go but heyho. Luckily I was in with my son so came second out of three teams in the quiz lol. Winners got beer tokens. Would recommend would love to go in again sometime

The Hed'On Inn is a brilliant micro pub. A cosy no frills bar dedicated to a good selection of hand-pulled cask conditioned real ale. There is also an excellent selection of about a dozen different ciders. If you want to try a few you can have three thirds for the price of a pint, a great way to try the range on offer. Friendly staff, internet jukebox, no bar games large car park to the rear. Highly recommended.Parking: Large free car park next to the pub and on street parking in BaxtergateWheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the entrance.

Nice place, friendly staff but for me not enough craft/guest ales. Micropubs shouldn't be doing Heineken and Stella etc in my eyes however I get that local market forces may dictate a "standard" beer supply..Worth a visit just don't expect massive craft selections.
