Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We were staying locally at a nearby campsite and managed to grab a table for Sunday dinner. They happily accommodated for allergies (my daughter has a dairy and egg allergy) and preferences (my other daughter is veggie). Portions were great! Loved the veggies. Definitely order the cauliflower cheese if you go! Thanks all again for your patience and hospitality. Will definitely return when we are up next ??

Had a meal here on the chef?s first night ? it was excellent. Will definitely be back. Slowly becoming like it used to be years ago. The landlord really makes the place; his personality and welcome give it a great atmosphere.

Wonderful, well appointed pub with great decor.
The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome and well cared for.
Food was great value and to a good standard.
Would and will visit again, great place.

I do not know what rooms they got but the pub is awesome and the stuff are friendly and polite. Outdoor playground.

OK but there are too many changes of ownership, food is ok but overpriced for what you actually get, also has a tendency occasionally to be closed for no apparent reason

Called in here for some food, Sunday lunch, it was very good, I think the owner came over and spoke to us as for any recommendations or suggestions, they obviously care about what they are doing here.

Very poor food 35 pounds 4 two of us food was awfully only the chips were edible we left most of the 2 meals n went 2 the canal tavern in thorn 4 two adults meals cooked nice very disappointing wen u go out of your way 2 enjoy a meal fetch the old land lord back n menu and adults portion won't go back

Went here for food, after reading reviews, but no chef so was told not serving meals .Went elsewhere.
