Just been on the course today and it was unplayable absolute waste of money they told me on the phone it was a bit wet that was an understatement, I was driving down the middle of the fairway and you couldn't even find your ball it's that bad but they were happy to take the full money,it's safe to say I will not going back there ever again.?

For the price we paid, an overall poor experience.- Price has inflated dramatically past what should be the norm for winter golfing.-For the price, the conditions left much to be desired.-The young man running the pro shop/bar had an attitude that left a sour front to the course and didn?t carry out his role with aplomb. He was rude and left us waiting for longer than acceptable with simple requests; pouring drinks and calculating our price (18 holes + £8, required calculator).

I must write this review as I feel like some of the previous reviews are rude and harsh.. I played here for the first time this morning with 2 of my pals (also playing here for the first time).. after we booked it mid week we thought we?d look at some of the reviews about the course as we was driving from hull and it was an 7:50 tee time so had to be up early and wanted to make sure it was going to be worth the get up and drive.. after reading some of the reviews we was a little bit sceptical about going but we thought sod it were booked on we?ll go give it a try.. and wow how wrong are some people the course was spot on .. fairways were perfect length? the rough was challenging but not were you couldn?t find your ball (as stated in some previous reviews) the course lay out is brilliant (it was mentioned a few time while we was going round) and challenging for every level of golfer? the pro shop had all the amenities drinks snacks.. clothing and all golfing accessories and we was also served a lovely pint in the clubhouse after our round? i think the other reviewers must play at Augusta every week after some of their comments.. there was one green that was temporary and rightly so as the green that was closed had been damaged.. my one and only comment I will say is a couple of tee boxes where a little longer then what we usually play but didn?t effect anything.. we will definitely be returning to play again.. and if it was a little closer I would definitely become a member 10/10 ??

For what is really a beginner?s/ junior/ fun course the rough is an absolute killer. Put it in there and the ball is invariably lost. A bit costly when playing with an absolute beginner aged 10.Bit of a struggle plotting your way around the holes with them interweaving with the foot golf holes, this was not helped by all the flags being the same style and colour.

We use to play here a few years ago. Went for 9 holes this morning and played the back 9. Unless you are a very good golfer and can hit the fairway every time be ready to loose balls. After speaking to several members they said that complaints have been put in but nothing is done about it. The grass is to long and the call the greens greens is a joke.

my dad went to play today with his golf society, the standard of the fairway, greens and overall condition is horrendous.no sprinklerspiles or grass left from recent fairway cutno grass or hardly and grass on greensbig areas of hard mud with large crackstotally disgusting

Rough was really bad grass cuttings just left. If you had a bad shoot couldn't find the ball. Needs some attention a d greens where so dry and cracked

Very sad to see the course in this kind of condition , the greens look like they havnt been watered for weeks and the fairways are a disgrace as for the roughThe entire course was full of people looking for their balls. There was a keeper cutting the course but he was flying around so quick it was ineffective I don't think I'll be back until it changes hands

Wondered why there was not many here. Soon found out. The first cut off the fairway was rough. Only had to bounce in it and you struggle to find your ball. Then the greens, erm no disrespect to the staff but been a lot of years since I played some this bad. What's happened here. Positive, staff are friendly. I used to play here regular in the 90s and not been able to get back to since. Dissapointed ain't the word. ?

Use the range. Staff friendly, sometimes play 9 holes. All good.

Good golf course for money but bunkers are hard sand so let it down a bit and has a real problems with crows digging green up

Played 27 holes with our society on Sat 17th Sept. Very friendly and food nice but course is definitely suffering from the recent hot spells. Unfortunately greens burnt and cracked with some really big patches resembling a cricket crease. Weeds growing in large areas of bunkers and on greens. Overall always a good day playing golf but worse course we have played for some time
