Firstly, Not enough staff around and inexperienced staff at that. There needs to be more older staff that know stuff.
Secondly, get rid of the self-serve checkouts and use more senior/real people with experience.
It's líke they're putting slower/inexperienced staff in on purpose on the checkout so people use the self serve checkouts instead, which I might add néed supervision.
Just bring back a larger team of people, open more real checkouts and stop trying to cut corners.
B&Q make enough profit, stop being greedy and be a proper DIY store.

When you buy offline the return process is so rubbish!
They have sellers that ship for b and q so to get a return or refund its emails back and forth.

Just moved to the area and this is a lovely store, not as big as the branches I am used to, but the staff are fantastic. My first 2 visits I have been greeted by happy, smiley staff who are knowledgeable and really helpful.

I?m a professional painter and decorator and visit Goole BandQ quite often to buy paint.All the staff there are absolutely fantastic, can?t do enough for you and are always very helpful and very polite.Been in today for some paint mixing by the lovely Karen :) great store great staff.
