We stayed in Orchard Cottage for 2 nights when going to a wedding in nearby Saltmarshe hall. This is a perfect location for that, it is about 5 minutes walk. The cottage was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. A lovely part of the country as well, we had a misty atmospheric walk along the river.

Stayed at Yew Tree Cottage for a week and it was absolutely perfect for a couple with a dog. Lovely location next to the river for walks. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed, stylishly furnished and just felt like home. The nearest town is Howden which has some excellent independent businesses.

Comfortable, spacious, well equipped and homely cottages, we having booked Orchard and River Cottages for the week while attending a wedding at nearby Saltmarshe Hall, 3 or 4 minutes walk away. The cottages shared an orchard which was well suited for drinks and/or a barbeque outside . The cottages were well situated for walks with the dogs by the River Ouse or further afield, to the coast, Beverley, York and the North Yorkshire Moors. Lots of really nice pubs/restaurants in the area for eating out. Had a lovely week in an area previously not visited, made particularly nice by Vivienne's wonderful cottages.

Gorgeous place, clean tidy and beautifully kept, Lisa is most helpful and nothing is any bother. The shower block was clean and tidy, the shower was better than mine at home! The washing up spot even had a bowl a sponge and washing up liquid provided. Can't ask for more. We stayed a few nights , would definitely go back and highly recommend. The coffee caravan is so cute and the cakes available are to die for! 5*

Everything about Apple Blossom was brilliant. The friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff, the great sized pitches, the amenities, bar, pizza wagon and burger wagon and whole atmosphere was brilliant. We are certainly going back but not too soon. This is because it's booked up for weeks which tells you a lot about this place. The team there work tirelessly and it really does show. We haven't stopped talking about it since we left. If you're looking for a campsite that caters for everything, this is your place. Thank you, Apple Blossom, we'll see you again.

My husband and I have just returned with out two dogs from a stay at Orchard Cottage. We could not have wished for a more perfect setting for us humans as well as the our animals. The cottage was clean, comfortable, safe, warm with all the equipment needed for a wonderful relaxing break. The garden was fabulous, especially for our disabled dog. We chose exactly the right time to holiday as the apple tree blossom was at its height right outside our cottage door.. I shall long have memories of eating my breakfast looking at it.Although the cottage is some five miles away from the town and shops of Howden (a very charming place) therefore, food shopping before you reach your destination is a must; this just added to its charm.Thank you so much to Vivienne and her family for making this a first class experience.Ian, Leslie, Lola and Mildred.

Back from a relaxing weekend at this little gem of a campsite, which we highly recommend. Great hosts Lisa & Dean, so welcoming and helpful. Pop up Pub with bingo and quiz on Sat night, evening food vans delicious pizzas on Friday evening and pancakes also available. Burger n kebabs Saturday. There?s a quaint coffee n cake van with honesty box the carrot cake was superb! . Breakfast van Sunday morning did not try but smelt lovely. There?s a shop with essentials and gifts. Clean toilets and showers. Big pitches and a playground in the meadow if you?ve got kids. Everything you need for a great camping break we will definitely be back at some point if we can get a pitch! ? Plenty of sunshine but a tad windy at times only 40 mins drive from Leeds xx

Excellent site right on the Trans Pennine Trail cycling route. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful (they even ordered a pizza online for me!). They gave me a nice quiet pitch and only charge £10 for cyclists. The drinks in the beer tent were very reasonably priced and the coffee van was great for a morning brew (in fact I also called in for a coffee on my way back). Will defintely use this site when I pass this way again.

This site is amazing, the owners are so helpfull and friendly. The pitches are a great size, we were in a tent with electric. They have the cutest little caravan with a coffee machine and cakes, at £2 each, both are lovely, both self serve with an honesty box, and it's open 24-7. There are nights where they have pizza, chicken or burger nights from a van, pizza was yummy. and a quiz night and bingo on the Saturday night we were there. You can hire a fire pit and buy wood from the office, aswell as anything you may have forgotten. They even had the easter Rabbit go round the site and gave all the kids a lindt chocolate bunny, what a lovely thing to do. The only issue is that there is only one shower and a family room( which you can use if the other shower is in use) but they are upgrading and getting more built which is going to be great. This site is around farmland so you have the local Cockerell which is definitely up at crack o dawn, so if you want a lie in just be aware, didnt bother us at all. Overall a great little site and we will definitely be returning one day. Thank you for a great weekend.
