We always stop at Rachel's when visiting the area. Absolutely delicious homemade cakes and bakes and a friendly welcome. Our friends were also suitably impressed. Nice new dog friendly area too although we all sat in the tea garden this time.

Make a small detour if you're doing the Wolds Way to this tea room. After roughing it for a few days it was an oasis of homemade cakes and scones. Very civilised.

What a lovely find on our Wolds walk today. We had beautiful hot lattes, cheese scone ( declared the best ever) and soup, and spent a fair amount of time looking at delicious cakes. Took some scones home, too. We were glad that we went into the church for a tour and got the personal recommendation for Rachel's and we were lucky enough to be looked after by her once we arrived ( 5 or so minutes from the lovely church). Having seen the car park nearby, we look forward to more walks in the area so we can come again.

Rachel?s is my fave cafe ?? on a bike ride, often plan a ride with a stop ? there.
Fantastic cake selection all homemade and very tasty. (see photo for todays selection)
Always served on lovely china so it feels even more of a treat.
Great for walkers, cyclists ???? or just because you fancy good cake?
In the summer outside in the garden is lovely and the winter is warm and cosy with the stove roaring, perfect on a damp or cold cycle ride?only issue is getting started again
Thanks Rachel always love coming to visit ?

A really nice tearoom serving delicious cakes and scones that Rachel makes herself. We have been several times and we always enjoy her homemade soup with homemade bread as it is really tasty, followed by coffee and irresistable cake or scones of course!

Best ever lemon drizzle cake. Rachel and her husband very welcoming. Everything is baked or made on site by Rachel. Well worth looking out for this wonderful little tea room.

Fantastic little tea room, the extra room for dogs was a brilliant space.
Cakes are so good, staff so friendly and welcoming, all while my watch was been fixed next door. Can't wait to return.

Delightful old fashioned tea shop, home made cakes and savouries. Even catered for my dog with a tub of dog ice-cream. Set just off the main village road, which makes for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor play area.

Great stop on the cycling route, especially at the end of a long never ending slow climb into a headwind. Always a fantastic selection of homemade cakes, great coffee and superb service.
