I attended my friend?s baby shower today and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the sea bass off the main menu and it was cooked perfectly! I recently attended my Grandma?s 90th at The Pipe and Glass and had sea bass there and it was overcooked, today the chef crisped the skin and the fish was Devine. The service and atmosphere was also very good, thank you.

Fantastic lunch, good quality and filling. Beautiful day so we sat outside, unfortunately some smokers were nearby which ruined the ambience.

Friendly service but staff were a little too keen to take away empty glasses at the earliest opportunity. Overall, a very pleasant place to visit for a drink or something to eat.

Had afternoon tea there on Monday. Sandwiches and savoury food was lovely. The scone came with jam and squirty cream so of course it just disintegrated. I have always had scones with Cornish cream .

First time visiting and was lovely.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Prices very reasonable
Nice atmosphere. No pub vibe which was lovely.
Was busy even for a Monday at 1pm.
Will 100% be retuning!

Service was awful.
I ordered two simple breakfast before 2 other couples and yet they got their food earlier!
No apology until I mentioned how long it took. And the waitress gave me and answer about the people outside! Even doh it only 3 tables or so outside. She clearly did not know what was going wrong.
Food was average at best sausages not the best if Im honest in terms of taste. I have had a lot of English breakfasts in a lot of places outside of Hull and have payed more and less and have eaten better food.
Parking was good and restaurant looked clean and hash browns were nice.
Visited mid day yesterday.

I ordered a pulled pork burger it was very nice I've been there three times now and each time it's been nice and you get a plate full.

Came here for a breakfast completely out the blue and it was lovely. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Fast service, food came out quick and the prices were fair. Nice clean place with a good atmosphere. No faults at all??

I went to the restaurant to have English breakfast and avocado and egg breakfast.
Unfortunately on egg was black hair.
I said about hair and they instead of replacing whole breakfast they cut part of egg and left it how it was and moved both eggs around!
Absolutely disgusting. They just said sorry?
Then we noticed the sausages were undercooked and black pudding dry and tasteless?
When waitress approached I told her I am happy about food, she suggested to replace sausages?but I said we have enough then she walked away
My breakfast avocado was mashed and I could feel was off and they forgotten to bring eggs with it ?they did rectify it
I am very disappointed that stuff didn?t bother to recompensate terrible experience
My boy was really disappointed with his English breakfast
We have never experienced anything like that before

Steak and eggs for breakfast with the chicken and waffles. Waffles were slightly over cooked and there was a delay serving, but it was Sunday brunch and very busy, so a little understandable.
Overall, definitely would go back but you need to reserve a table during busy periods ?
