Trapping people in the store after they have paid is wrong. I have autism and social anxiety and use the new self serve tills to avoid people.
Through my sensory issues I can not touch the paper that receipts are printed on yet we must use the receipt to exit the barrier meaning if I don?t have gloves on I?m trapped and start getting anxious which heightens my social anxiety so I can?t talk to the person acting like security to tell them the issue
So far I have walked through it and shall continue until it either breaks or they remove it as it is disrespectful towards those with special needs or mental health
It?s like they are treating their customers as thieves before proven otherwise and it?s a shame they have to force us to create paper wastage that effects our planet.

Six self checkouts have been installed. These machines print out a QR code to open a barrier as you leave that part of the shop.

Everytime I take a risk to buy meat I am disappointed. I literally bought it today and when opened it stinks. So disappointed. Chicken wings ended up in the bin.

Love Lidle! You get nearly everything you need from a food shop, and it's always at least £30 cheaper than other big named stores. I still love the center Isle!
