I love this hotel its so quite but they only back drop is the breakfast service regarding the cook is far far to slow there were quite a few people staying and we waited nearly 1 hour for our food this should of been noted that they were high volumes of people therefore he should of batched cooked very disappointing !!!!! Also our shower just trickled out kept stopping and starting not good especially when the breakfast extra and not in with the price of the room there should be separate kitchen staff not up to the other girls who service the rooms so therefore looking to stay at no 41 in futureWalkability: Walkability is good as the hotel is in a good situation

While this hotel was good for 2 of our four days. Everything is shut on Sunday afternoon / eveningHaving been touring on a motorcycle all day, I looked forward to a coffee in my room ( or beer at the bar ) before a soak in the bath. There was no coffee, tea, or milk replenished in my room, the bar and restaurant was closed, And to add salt to the wound, I had no hot water in my room Sunday or Monday Morning.I paid for a bigger room. It was a good size with lounge area, but not able to make a hot drink or hot shower / bath, or even buy one downstairs, was not good news for Sunday, or first thing Monday morning before checking out.You expect these issues to be resolved, and they were not, but still charged the full rate for 4d Fri-Mon.Staff do work very hard. Breakfast was good, but short staffed with one person serving drinks at bar, serving dinner, and maning the reception. There were 4 in our group, all in different rooms, and all agreed we doubt we will be going back.A real shame, had they left out some coffee, milk pots on reception since the bar & restaurant were closed, it could have been a better review. However, no hot water in my room for 2 of the 4 day stay is just not good enough for any room, let alone for a larger executive suite room at charged at a premium price.I rarely give low star reviews, but not to have the facilities you pay for, and no offer of a reduction in charges for no water in my room for Sun and Mon morning really isn't the service you expect from best Western franchises.Rooms: No hot water for 2 days, no hot drinks in the room for 2 days.Asked owner on Sunday evening about the lack of hot water, and nothing was done to resolve it.Food & drinks: Nice meal at bar, and breakfast good. Staff friendly and attentive in restaurant.

This is certainly an old fashioned hotel, restaurant and bar but that is just part of it's character. It does smell a little musty but the rooms are huge and beds are comfortable. The room I was in had a bedroom, bathroom and a separate, smaller sitting room. The spa and swimming area are in a separate building to the main entrance. On a weekday they close the spa at 7pm but weekends is 5pm. Located right in the centre of town.Walkability: Right in the centre of town

What a brilliant hotel, right in the centre close to lots of bars and indian restaurants.Ignore most of the negative reviews, for the money it's perfect, the full English was outstanding, the staff very helpful, the rooms and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room all spit on.Would definitely stay again, when in Driffield.

We come from Lincoln and had a 4 day break. It is very oldy worldly and so quaint. The floors creak but one would expect that in a 300 year old building. The staff are excellent.

My best friend and I shared a truely wonderful pamper day, included in the package we had bought was a lunch- sandwich, use of spa facilities and we had added a massage at a very low extra cost. All aspects of our experience was amazing, what a hidden gem the Bell Hotel is. We both would highly recommend the spa and the food to anyone and the staff are brilliant, so warm, welcoming and really go out of their way to explain everything and certainly make you feel at ease. Overall amazing!

Old and musty but with character. Tea making in the room. Room was a good size and slept well. Small car park. The cooked breakfast was excellent ?

We visited the bar as it had a great offer on for coffee and cake between 14.00 and 16.00 for £5.00. The coffee and lemon meringue was good but the carrot cake was obviously not fresh that day. The service was friendly and chatty which was a complete contrast to the tired bar with no atmosphere. Without going into detail, it was also clear the ladies' toilets had not been checked recently for cleanliness.

You can see the former glory of this place but it really does need updating. There is a dingy look and smell to the whole place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The carpet in our executive suite must have been 50 years old. The old furniture is very fitting but we had water stains on wallpaper and crumbling plaster behind it. If updated this place would be amazing.

A pleasant hotel with easy access to lovely countryside, coast and many interesting places.Rooms: Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. No outlook and a little dated.Nearby activities: RSPB Bempton cliffs are an amazing sight with hundreds of sea birds.Bridlington old town has interesting architecture and old priory church.Burton Agnes Hall.Lost village at Wharem PercyFood & drinks: Continental breakfast was fine disappointed no evening meals were served despite website saying they were.
