Tried using the click & collect service via the costa app in order to try avoid the queuing. However that backfired on me as I still had to wait in the queue. Other branches actually have an area where they'll leave your order for to collect, but not here which kind of defeats the whole purpose of click and collect. Also feels very cramped in there, especially near the counter area. It was a busy afternoon with only 2 members of staff serving and just with how cramped everything was, it didn't feel like much of a relaxing atmosphere at all like a coffee shop is supposed to be. I did get my coffee eventually which was of course at an acceptable standard, but the bottom line is click and collect shouldn't be an option at this particular branch as it clearly isn't designed for it.

Myself and my daughter visited this morning for a catch up with two friends and I was shocked by how rude and unprofessional the staff were. I appreciate it was busy but there were plenty of staff around and if they are stressed by the prospect of making coffees for customers then perhaps a job in a coffee shop isn?t the right job for them. The lady that took our order was clearly not happy to be there and a tall man with curly hair who appeared to be emptying rubbish made a nasty remark to my friend as we were leaving. He obviously thought she was in his way and not moving quickly enough for his liking. I thought coffee shops were supposed to be relaxing places to chill out? To top it all off it cost me a tenner for a drink and a tiny cake, save your money and go to one of the local independent places less than a 2 minute walk away where I?m sure they will appreciate your custom. I certainly won?t be going back in a rush

Kid-friendliness: If they?re busy they will look at you like an inconvenience for daring to bring a child with you

No cups as they were all stacked up on tables from previous customers very slow in service. The coffee was too hot, so it tasted burnt.I'll not be visiting this shop again.

Just ordered 2 maple hazelnut coffees. Nothing like the advertisements. There was absolutely no taste of anything let alone the coffee. At the prices charged for coffee at Costa, I expected better. Sometimes I can understand that things are rushed as they get very busy but on this occasion there was no one in, it was before 9am. Very disappointed....

Not the best coffee in the World but there is a huge car park, free for 3 hours, at Kingston Retail Park so it's a good call for a break in shopping. I also use it to meet up with a friend from the opposite side of the city. The seating is comfortable and varied, the space is large, light and airy and the staff are very pleasant and friendly. Food is varied and ranges in price from realistic to ridiculous. The latter being pastries and cakes, which don't taste as good as they look so beware! Toasties are reasonable value and there are a few meal deals available too. Functional and average though it may be, there is a place for Costa in our busy lives.

They never have enough staff, hence tables allways need clearing. Whilst staff try their best, they need more help. When we were there today it was almost full, yet two men, who'd obviously just gone in just to use the Wi-Fi , selfishly, where using a four chair table each. Thus taking up eight seats between them , when people where trying to find seats ! Perhaps if they'd more staff they'd have asked the guys to move to a smaller table!!

Typical Costa Coffee shop, if you like the coffee and food you are in the right place! Staff is always very friendly, can be busy but never had to wait too long!

Good local Costa Coffee. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff every time I go in (which is not often) but I take as a good sign.
