I visited the Tesco Extra store in Bridlington early this morning, 6am, and had an emotional meltdown at the self service checkout. A staff member named Kath came to my rescue, she was kind and caring and made me feel better. Thank you Kath, you're a darling.

ID mad..
Despite being nearly 30 and visibly over 21, constantly ask for ID and was once told they would ID a 2 year old child if with their mother, had one person accept a photograph of my ID and one person deny the photograph ID and say they can?t take it?. Like sorry, my bad I won?t buy my 2 year old a bottle of henessey again?.
Stupid, if you can?t tell the difference between a child and an adult then you shouldn?t be in a position to make you so power hungry?

I love this store only thing letting I it down is how dirty the entrance is - inside and out not inviting at all. It is however clean inside .

Our nearest go to when visiting Flamborough.
Not a huge supermarket despite the description on line being a superstore.
There isn?t a huge vegetarian selection ref ready Meals.
Clothing selection is very poor and could be better.

This is a good size Tesco very close to the railway station so very handy if you are travelling by train.
When I go to Brid on the train I almost always pop in to Tescos to pick up shopping.
It also has a huge carpark including a good number of disabled parking spaces and there?s a cash machine just by the store entrance.
It?s always been very well stocked when I have visited with a good fresh produce section and a wide range of free from products.
Good lighting, plenty of space between the aisles which are also clear of rubbish and produce cages and a mix of manned and self checkouts.
Staff are helpful, friendly and professional.

Decent sized store, we got what we needed but doesn't have lots of choice so if you're used to a bigger store, you may struggle a bit.
