Lovely place , nice and quiet little place to grab a bite to eat and a lovely coffee , then a little shop in the farm shop with local produce and they even have some thing from the farm itself

Popped in for a coffee and a toasted teacake one afternoon and enjoyed it so much we visited again a couple of days later for breakfast, which was delightful. Nice friendly staff.

Called in for a hot drink after a walk along Bempton Cliffs and was abruptly asked if we had a booking upon entering? I wasn't aware small places like this required a booking, at least they don't in the North East. We were then told that we couldn't sit in the conservatory with our dog as they were fully booked so we're told we could sit in the courtyard. In the 20 minutes we spent there, the conservatory had one table of customers, the rest were empty.
I almost felt like I had three heads the way the staff spoke to us. Not friendly at all and if it wasn't for the fact we are from Durham and not local to the area I would've walked out. But with cold thirsty children we stayed. I would never return. Absolutely not a scrap of customer service and felt incredibly uncomfortable

Love to argue when corrected!
When a tradesman asks for a sausage and Tom they do not mean sausage and tomato sauce!
Thats when the person loved to argue to cover up their stupidity!
Sausages came out pink and look under cooked and not even browned off!
Guess you don?t argue with the chef lol
Probably the same dark haired lady in another bad review?
I own a caravan in the area and will not be sending anyone here!
All chucked in the bin with their customer service skills! Waste of money!
