Had Sunday there yesterday 22/9 it was shocking, frozen roast potatoes were so leathery you couldn?t even cut into them, 2 pieces of carrot, cauliflower and parsnips were all rock hard totally inedible.
Yorkshire pudding was leathery and the whole meal was cold.
Lots of people on other tables were all leaving their food too. People were struggling to cut into their food as everything was so hard.
Really dissatisfied as it was my birthday meal with husband.
I never normally complain but on this occasion had to. Totally shocked that the chef and kitchen staff would let meals like this even leave the kitchen !! Never again !

Lovely food, great service! I had read some, not very favourable reviews, however was told the gardeb centre itself was eorth a visit. So glad I took a chance and stopped for lunch...as we sat at a table that had just been vacated, a member of staff appeared to clear & wipe the table. Lady that served me was very friendly and the food was lovely. It pays to take a chance and treat some reviews as someone having a bad day!!!

Only visited the Christmas section but it has some nice displays and good variety of decorations.

Two of us chose fish & chips. The batter on both was undercooked, .A replacement was offered but we were put off and got a refund. The third person ordered a toasted sandwich that arrived burnt It was sent back and replaced. Soon after it arrived, a small fly crawled out of the salad garnish! The fourth meal was "ok"but not worth the price even at today' prices When we went to order our meals we noticed a steak pie waiting to be taken to a table. It was still waiting 10 minutes later and we later noticed the recipient complaining. NEVER AGAIN!!!

VISITED THE POTTING SHED WHICH SEEMS VERY CLEAN BESIDES THE LAD THAT WAS PREPARING AND SERVING THE FOOD HAD THE DIRTIEST FINGER NAILS I HAVE EVER SEEN ! THE MENU IS VERY EXPENSIVE WITH SO MANY ADD COSTS. E.G. BURGER £10.99 ADD CHEESE £1.79 ADD CHIPS £1.49 OR £2.99 . . .

Really enjoyed. Well worth a visit. Good for old and young alike. Easily spend a whole day there. Only downside is quite expensive if not member of National Trust. I was treated by a member. Thank you for lovely day.

What a lovely garden centre. Loads and loads of great products to browse and it feels like the floor area just keeps going and going. There are also 2 café areas; one near the front and a bigger one further to the back. In truth, we didn't give ourselves enough time to see everything and will definitely be going back in the future. Oh and we bought a few plants as well ?

Went to the Potting Shed as thought it would be better than the other destination we were going to. Garden centre is great, and something different however the food really was not pleasant. Steak pie with canned filling, one large mushy boiled potato and melt/disintegrate in the mouth cauliflower. The lasagne was a dish of thick pasta, congealed cheese and so much tomato concentrate it was barely passable as food - more something you'd find blocking a drain. The ordering system means you have to stand and wait while drinks are made so pray the person before you isn't in a large party. Anyway, bear this in mind if you do visit, staff pleasant which was the only plus point, won't go back which is a shame as it lets down the garden centre which is fantastic.

Always come here to eat, buy cakes and come away with gifts. We even have a loyalty card and we live 4 hours away but stay near Bridlington regularly!

We were a family of 4 adults that ordered the fish and chips. The fish was really greasy to eat,it also leaked grease as you cut it open. The fish was ok inside but the batter really let it down. Considering it cost £11.50 for each portion we left feeling disappointed and quite queasy. Unfortunately we will not be visited again

The staff are wonderful. My wife has Alzheimer's Disease and she loves going for a coffee and cake (and a chat). I'm so grateful that everyone is so lovely here. Thank you x
