I got the latest model of Amazon Fire Tablet from here for a ridiculously cheap price compared to some of these types of places and was very happy with it, On the other hand I also looked at a Ukelele that cost more to buy from here than if I had bought it new from the manufacturers, I suppose pricing can be a bit hit and miss.

They never price match with Cex, and if they do it's on rare occasions. They just cannot compete and so it's not worth selling here. I visited a few weeks ago and I asked if they would price match some of my items to save me time, but they offered me something of an insulting price. Wont visit ever again. Will always go to CEX.

Was going to sell my thrustmaster t150 force feedback steering wheel and pedals which cost me £180 only a month ago and they said I will only get about £40 from them I will never shop there again or sell anything to them you are an absolute disgrace for a shop which is supposed to help people in need all you do is try to RIP people off

I have just cancelled my account with this store, I put my phone in on a buy back unfortunately I didn?t realise that it had expired, as soon as I did which was approximately 4/5 days later I called to explain and was told my item was still in the store, this has happened to me before so I assumed there would be no issues, Not this time, I was told that I would have to buy it at the full displayed price, as there was no way to allow me to purchase it at the price on my contract, when I know from personal experience this is possible, even if the systems have changed from my experience as I am a regular customer why not sell me it back and give me a large discount? I would have been prepared to pay some extra, I understand that I have made a mistake but sheer human decency would make me do all I can to help a regular customer, but the member of staff I dealt with was not helpful at all, and at times almost rude.Update.....I have received a call from one of the (directors ?) after a productive conversation this issue has been resolved with a very satisfactory resolution, I believe that some of the issues will not happen again if this is the case then I would happily use the services again, as it is obviously not possible to have a 100% customer satisfaction on the first interaction it would appear the company does listen and does value its customers far more than I first thought, some of my first comments were probably made through frustration. Thank you

Staff at the bridlington store used to be friendly and very helpful. Since the staff changed I haven't had a good experience at all and find them very rude.. the staff could at least be polite while robbing us.. took my custom elsewhere

Went in and they were all very polite and helpful, didn't bug me like other shops do! But they'll also keep watch incase you need any help, prices are very reasonable and wont rob you of your money! The isn't bad as people make it out to be, they just complain cause they didn't get given enough money to pay for their drugs! 10/10 love this shop and the staff

Well I must say I walked into this store with low expectations, I?ve heard nothing but bad things.How wrong was I about to be proven.Went into your store in the last week in the late afternoon just browsing not expecting to buy anything. The staff aren?t the type to pounce on you with hands rubbing together like the typical sales people you get at others stores like curry?s. Hate it when they do that. I was greeted by the two gentlemen in the store with nice smiley faces and a ?Good afternoon? from one of them.I proceeded to browse the laptops to which I again expected someone to pounce, only to have a young man simply ask ?if you need any help, please don?t hesitate to ask?. Made me feel more relaxed and able to look for what I wanted, which was a basic laptop for bog standard internet shopping and some cheeky slot machine games I like to play. I looked for help and before you know it the young man headed over to assist me in my problem, which laptop would suit my needs.He asked what did I require the laptop for, to which I replied just something for basic internet browsing etc. The young man showed me two different laptops to choose from both in very good condition for second hand laptops. Now bearing in mind have no idea about laptops and the things the ticket said. He explained what each bit meant from the hard disk thing and the ram?. Made it easier for me to understand.To his credit he didn?t up sell or try sell an overpriced laptop for my basic needs.Went over to the till proceeded to purchase the laptop on the lay-by thing where you pay a deposit and pay every two weeks. It was very well explained by both gents and how it works. To say the least I will be back again.They?re both a credit to your team thanks againJanet

I have purchased a few items from here. From a photo to Jewellery. Great selection. The store is clean and well kept. The staff were very polite and helpful. The manager especially. Will definitely be using again.

I bought a TV from Cash Express Bridlington a few years ago which has been fine but has now seen better days so I decided to pop in and see if they had another. Upon entering the store I noticed that the staff present seemed to be more interested in what was happening with the football scores than actually halping me! Blatantly ignoring me and other customers. When I did manage to get one of the staffs attention he seemed more pre-occupied with what the other staff were doing and even started having a conversation with one in the middle of speaking with me! Rude & terrible customer service!. Safe to say I took my money and left, I went around the corner and spent my money in Argos, where I was treat correctly by staff with proper customer service and who are properly trained with how to deal with their customers not a shop full of rude lads who are more interested in football. I definatley will not be shopping at Cash Express again.

Got a ps4 from them and it was broke. So was the controller. The controller kept drifting. Went in to trade/swap cos warranty hadnt ended by then, and they just said they cant do anything about it.

Scammers - Avoid!! I took my old Samsung Galaxy S8 into Cash Express on Friday 08/03/19 as I have upgraded to the new S10. I have never set foot in the store before as I normally sell to CEX or online, but as I was passing I thought that I would give them a try. BIG MISTAKE, The S8 was good condition and open to any network. I asked the lady behind the counter how much it was worth for cash and she took a very quick look at it and offered me £80-£85 pounds!! I was shocked at this offer and explained that CEX are currently paying £192 for the exact same phone. I assumed that there was some mistake so I questioned her pricing and asked her to check CEX website. She basically laughed at me and explained that she knew what they were selling for and that was the offer! She explained that she didnt need to check CEX as they dont even pay what it says on the website (bold claim)!!?? So I took my S8 and left the store, went to CEX and got my £192! Safe to say that I will not be setting foot in Cash Express again anytime soon, my advice would be to check your prices before selling as obviously they do rip people off and get away with it.
