Had to queue a short while to be seated upstairs, as busy. Deli downstairs. Food not cheap but fresh and home-made, top quality and delicious. Staff work hard but are friendly and effecient.
Dietary restrictions: Staff asked on ordering about allergies.

Wheelchair accessibility: Doubt it, upstairs!

Market day but we popped in for takeaway coffee which was available downstairs(thankfully because there was a queue upstairs) . We also picked up beef stroganoff, pecan pie, hot chocolate and chocolate orange brownie. All of which were excellent real food. It came to £27 which we thought was reasonable..

Good food and service but no WiFi for customers. I was hoping to get some work done wile eating my lunch and that really let it down. Phone signal is poor so hotspotting wasn?t an option.
Everything else was spot on.

Stumbled across this beauty today. Amazing food. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere. Love the whole concept of the deli downstairs too. We will be returning.

Food was delicious, we had two of the specials; the French onion grilled cheese and the American pancakes with plum compote. Highly recommend them both.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus on a rainy day.

I have used Vanessa's for along time now and there have been some changes, I had a full breakfast the other day and I did noticed that the sausages have changed in texture and flavour and are quite bland in taste and less meatiness.
