A lovely afternoon pub experience. Friendly staff good music (and clearly a good attitude to music by their choice of WiFi password :) ). I'd forgotten just what a great looking pub it was (inside and out) too.

A pub we wanted to try but don't try to get in on a Thursday night if you haven't booked a quiz table. A shame as it looks an interesting place with good real ale choice. Will give it another try next time we're in Beverley.

Oldest pub in Beverley I believe. Great character. Nice pint of Black Sheep bitter. Friendly landlord. Right next to The Minster. Love it.

The sun in is reputedly the oldest pub in Beverley dating back to the 1500's. Standing in the shadow of Beverly minster this great pub has an excellent range of cask conditioned real ale. This unspoiled pub has nice outside seating in the rear courtyard. Live music every weekend. The pub hosts the Beverley blues festival each summer. There's an open mic night every Tuesday and often live music on a Sunday afternoon. The sun inn is a great community pub. Highly recommended.
