Would highly recommend The Beverley Arms we went over the Christmas Parade/Markets weekend Thursday to Monday. The staff were lovely as was the room and food. Stayed again 22-25th March. Again, we had a fantastic time.

A very indifferent experience for what was a stunning venue on the inside and well designed.Chose the 'Thwaites beer battered fish' with chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. It was tasty, but really greasy.My wife ordered a double portion of the starter pasta dish that they planned to serve as two courses. However, she chose not to have it twice after one portion. It was bland and tasteless, and was essentially overcooked ricotta pasta with some bits of butternut squash in sauce.The service wasn't great and the staff were not visible at times, even though they were just stood at bottom. I had to get up and walk across to them a couple of times.They overcharged us for two pastas even though we cancelled one, so they had to knock it off the bill.A great venue, but a disappointing experience. It may be better for just having a drink.

Stayed here a number of times, and the staff make a point of remembering us. It's much appreciated.Rooms: The rooms are well appointed. Little extras, like White Company bath/shower gels are a nice touch.Walkability: Central to shops, cafes and restaurants, but not too noisy

The thing that let this place down was the total disregard of putting Happy Mother's Day on our receipt. I am neither a mother nor do I have one, so I was quite upset at this inappropriate comment. That's why I've rated this place as ok.

Rooms: Light, airy, cosy and a bath!!! Had some lovely touches. Biscuits, lovely toiletries and comfortable bed.Walkability: Excellent location, with a beautiful view.Noteworthy details: The room was exceptional, along with the service. Parking easy and efficient.

Excellent hotel, which has a long history but has been refurbished to a high standard. Rooms are great and the restaurant evening meal I had was really great. In the centre of Beverley.

Popped in whilst visiting area , hotel is very nice and busy but met with helpful friendly staffFood & drinks: Lovely lunch (fish & chips) with drinks not too expensive and varied menu and cocktail options
