Well it's Christmas day and the joint of pork we were supposed to have for our Christmas dinner absolutely stinks. There's still two days on the date. It's an absolute joke I took some chicken back last week within an hour of buying it for the Same reason. How are they storing the meat products?. Last year my mother was hospitalised after eating meat from this store. It's absolutely disgusting. Thank you very much for ruining our Christmas dinner.

I visited the Tesco Beverley store with my boyfriend (19) and sister (15), completing a weekly shop where I purchased some Christmas bits including a singular Tyskie larger intended for my dad. My sister and boyfriend had bought some separate bits so they went to the basket check out while I went to the trolley self service.Because of the larger I was expected to be ID so got my ID out in preparation, a member of the team who had clearly been watching me instantly came over my shoulder DEMANDING that I call my ?mates? over to check there ID after explaining that it?s my little sister whose 15 she refused my ID this I accept and moved on to pay, I then explained over the till to my sister the issue and went to leave as I told my boyfriend the issue and said I was unhappy about it I heard the Tesco colleague telling another pair of customers about the issue. From the demanding nature and rudeness of telling customers while I?m still present in the store is what I believe to be unprofessional.I accept that I reacted in the wrong way from hearing the conversation between her and another customer, definetly not leaving quietly however there has been many a time in this store where I have been served while having my sister with me so I think from a store perspective a consistency is needed on when you can buy alcohol and when you can?t I also think this should be specifically shown down the spirits aisle to avoid the embarrassment of having ID demanded.

Witnessed the manager verbally berate a member of his staff in full view and earshot of all customers- regarding a mistake she had made - very very unprofessional and unpleasant- totally inappropriate. Whatever she had done should have been dealt with privately - He should be disciplined

Called in Tesco at Beverly today (27/09/23) and the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Linda on customer service. Sorted my 'problem' out straight away in a very professional way with no fuss, the lady on the checkout was nice and friendly and was lovely with everyone who she served,it was a pleasure to to queue up and I've never thought that before. ?

My car was dented by a tesco delivery driver slamming a shopping crate into the side of my car on a private driveway during a delivery- £260 worth of damage. Despite admitting liability, Tesco now don't want anything to do with it and their insurance company refuses to answer calls and return voicemails. Their call centre also breached confidentiality by releasing the drivers name to me. #tescosbreachofgdpr #hulldailymail #bbcwatchdog

Good Tesco. Parking sometimes tight as people also park for town (allowed). UPDATE: Oct 2023 (downgraded from 4 stars to 1 star) - Food is packed and dispatched from a different Tesco store for delivery (it is the Beverley Road store in Hull for deliveries to Beverley). Over the last 4 weeks we have noted that their hygiene practices are no longer fit for purpose with raw meat being placed next to (and touching) other cooked and ready to eat items in the same delivery tray without protection (eg plastic bags) to reduce the risk of contamination with bacteria such as e.coli, salmonella etc. We have reported it 3 times to the drivers and twice to the phone operator. We have been told that there is nothing that they can do (presumably practices have changed perhaps due to cost-cutting). We have been advised there is no complaints department now for problems related to Tesco deliveries and that we need to complain via social media (!). We have cancelled our year pass for delivery.
