Visited for lunch on Sunday 14th November. The food was nice, but the pub itself was just so dirty - food on the floor (being walked over by the staff), plates on tables that we had to move ourselves, wet menus, dirty cutlery and glasses. I don?t think it had been cleaned from the Saturday night. It annoys me when you hear ?it?s a Wetherspoon?s? as the excuse. If it?s like it again we?ll go to Green D instead.

Me and my partner always come here for breakfast and we was served by a younge blonde girl, she was the most miserable person I have ever been served by, no eye contact felt very uncontrollable and not welcome in the slightest, she told us I couldn't have my partners beans. Has time went on I spoke to the manager and asked her why the service was so bad, she replied the young girl needed her dinner break with her been type One Diabetes, I was just lost for words no need be rude because you need a break, also waiting about 20 minutes for our breakfast. Just very disappointed ??

Advised that there were no clean wine glasses for our wine so we were offered prosecco or beer glass. On suggesting they wash a glass was told they didn't actually have any to wash. But the lady thought they were on order. She was very pleasant and apologetic and I completely understand it was not her fault. Imagine been offered beer in a wine glass. Wasn't peak time. Plenty of local shops selling cheap wine glasses. It's not good enough wetherspoons but unfortunately yet another indicator of how poorly customers are valued

Staff were lovely and friendly. Had the feeling that they were under staffed. My food came and it was absolutely terrible.!Sent it back and reordered but food was not so good.Party of 4 and 3?out of 4 were disappointed with the food. The staff were so lovely so we didn?t complain too much. Just doing their job with the r sources that they had.Witherspoons seem to be cutting back and it?s showing?..

Came in here for dinner as my hotel next door wasn't serving evening meals sadly. I was very hungry so order a few different things and the food was ok. Waitress was very nice and facilities good WiFi etc.

The Cross Keys is a traditional pub, a typical Wetherspoon's. On this visit we both chose a traditional breakfast and coffee (which you get from a self service coffee machine). It was all very nice at a reasonable price.

Average Wetherspoons pub. Got a pint of Shipyard. It was terrible so took it back and was offered a different beer so I got a real ale. Burger and chips I got were ok.Staff were friendly enough. Like I say, an average Wetherspoons pub.

Sausage and mash with onion and red wine gravy sounded delightful. Unfortunately the meal arrived lacking sufficient gravy for the meal. When asked if we could have more gravy we couldn?t believe the response that we had to pay for it. Surely if it?s on the menu then it should be included and and not an additional extra. Seems a bit mean. Whenever we?ve asked for more gravy in other places it has always been free. Poor show from Wetherspoons.

The food was ok, food was slow to come. Had a few mixed grills, and the meat on each was quite fatty and hard to chew, resulting in the children leaving a fair bit of theirs. We went with the kids and were asked to leave at 9pm due to company policy of not allowing children in past 9pm despite the law saying 9.30pm which we checked prior to our visit.I don't mind and understand the companies policy, however, we were not made aware of this when we ordered food, so it was a little disappointing that a bouncer would then come to our table asking us to leave, which we felt was a little unnecessary. We also wouldn't have gone past their 9pm cut-off point had we not been waiting roughly 40mins for the food to arrive, leaving us to have to rush our meals. The beer was, however, nice and cheap, as are all weatherspoons, but we felt a little disappointed overall with our visit.

After hearing great things about wetherspoons and having visited the one in Meadowhall I was very disappointed after this visit.Although it was a busy day which didn't mind about the staff failed to clean the tables properly. When we eventually found a table food was ordered on the app and the wait was quite a while although the drinks were served quickly. As for the food when the server brought it she only brought 3 plates although we had ordered 4 meals. She muttered something not sure what and said something about the gravy that had been ordered. After another long wait we realised that the rest of the order was not coming.Had to wait at the bar awhile to ask what had happened to the rest of the order. In the meantime the ones who had got their meals were faced with eating a cold meal due to the wait or start eating without the forth persons meal.Eventually was served the meal and missing items from the order. Not very good service although the waitress that sorted the problem was polite.Other people were also waiting for orders and had missing orders.

Large pub, plenty of seating, usual Wetherspoons menu so you know what to expect. Prices have gone up like everywhere else but I didn't expect portion size to shrink so much!

This is a nice place to eat, I went yesterday with a friend, and mum and dad. Mum was in a mobility scooter, and there was lots of room. Dad was saying that weatherspoons would be ideal for eating when we go to Norfolk in September

Attended Friday tea time. Expected cheap and cheerful - its a 'spoons' after all. However compared to recent visits to the same chain in Hull, Nottingham and Wakefield it was very disappointing. Far too loud. Nobody in our group sitting close together could hear each other speak. Food was lukewarm with small portions. On The plus side service via the app was good and the beer was good. Left quite quickly. I'm sure there are better pubs to eat at around Beverley

Food good but I find it a bit of an insult bringing my main course with only a fork and no knife. Why do Wetherspoon think we eat like Americans who have no idea what to do with a knife and use their forks like holding a dagger? Come on Wetherspoon, up your standards a bit. I had to reurn to the bar whilst my meal got cold.
