We needed somewhere for breakfast so the wife suggested this place as she used to live in the area and hadn?t been for years??yea I think we?ll leave her recommendations in the car next time.The place was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a decent selection of food available although the cake selection was a little limited.A lot of stairs up to the main restaurant area but once you?re up there it?s very spacious inside.The wife and I both chose the Full breakfasts which were quite cheap, once I tasted it I realised why! The sausages were not the best, quite tough and not very nice in my opinion.There weren?t many baked beans on offer and the ones that were on parade were luke warm at best.The bacon was horrendous.I think Timpsons are at risk with their shoe repairs here, if you want a cheap sole repair just get some bacon from this place and tack it on?..bet it will last for years! Tougher than a rhinos behind!!The staff and atmosphere were good and the food was cheap but I won?t be back anytime soon, a notion I think my guts will thank me for!

Love there sausage rolls and bread cakes. Have been going many years now. Staff are lovely and food is always top notch.

WALK TO THE ONE DOWN THE ROAD! Not all, but some staff are rude. Was going to buy a bun but could see it had a hair on it through the glass. I asked if they had any more, she abruptly came to the customer side of the counter, removed the bun and was waving it around loudly stating 'I can't see a hair' even when I was pointing right at it! She could of just said no sorry, and threw the bun away!
This is not the only run in with this member of staff!

Staff are sometimes rude and steak beaks are half full, mostly gravy maybe one or two pieces of steak, basically pay £1.45 for a bit of pastry and gravy, not impressed

Its cooplands, better than greggs but theres far better places to grab a bite around here if you can afford to sit down and pay a little more.
