We booked a table here for my sisters birthday (booked as there was 7 of us) Gave our order the day before to assist the chef. We booked in and our food came out collectively, so we all ate together! Food was amazing and we all ordered different meals! Staff was accommodating and polite. Access to garden with seating! Overall great atmosphere, food and very welcoming! Thankyou for a pleasant experience!

Update August 25: Visited 3 times this week (despite being 40 minutes away). Delightful meals every time as well as a takeaway for supper one night. Staff are so polite and helpful (and a good giggle as well). Another two holidays booked in the area next year and cannot wait to return already, in fact we wish we lived nearby so that this was our local. Keep up the good work.
May 2025: We booked to visit in advance whilst we were on holiday locally. The staff called to confirm specifics of the booking within 5 minutes of placing it online. Upon arrival staff were welcoming and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. The pub was very clean and staff attentive throughout our meal. The food was delicious with great portion sizes. We had such a lovely time we booked a return meal before leaving. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks for everyone's assistance, especially Mia and Chloe.

We found this place when coming back from hornsea to driffield. we are so glad we went. it was pub quiz night. despite being busy they accommodated us. The fish and chips is one of the best I have had. The veg lasagna was superb. kids jumbo fish finger is highly recommended. the atmosphere was superb. the staffs are friendly and amazing

I?ve recently been in the Board Inn as I was on holiday and I can?t fault them. The staff are all friendly and very welcoming and the food is on point. This was our third year returning and it most surely did not disappoint. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Made Sunday lunch, just to say it was amazing. Never been for a pub roast where you had so much tasty meat, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Compliments to the back room guys and well done to the waiting staff who did a brilliant job front of house.
