Disappointing to find that the buy one get one half price offer was time limited to 30 days - I don?t recall that being explained to me at the time. They did offer a 20% discount after realising how annoying I?d found it.Second visit for a timed appointment, but the optician was 20 mins late because he?d taken a walk in - no one explained that when I arrived - just all left me feeling less than a valued customer sadly

This store helped me in a crisis. I travelled to Yarm for my fathers funeral and woke up in the morning to find I forgot to pack my contact lenses. They were very kind to provide me with some to get me by, I am so grateful. Thanks Steve

I went for an eye test as I felt my eyes have deteriorated significantly since I got my new glasses around six months ago, I attended Yarm Vision Express and had the test, my eyes had deteriorated by 40% I got my prescription and was assisted by a young lad who to be honest hadn?t a clue, he had to seek help from the manager I think who gave me the impression he didn?t want to be there. I found the whole experience uncomfortable and condescending, on top of that I was charged £118.00 for 2 new lenses, 1 in each of my pairs of glasses. I was told when I got my glasses that my eyes would deteriorate so maybe I should?ve been advised to have another test along the line to keep track of how they were faring. Is it just me or are Vision Express losing the personal and sympathetic way of dealing with customers. I will pick up my glasses when they are ready but won?t be back
