Went for breakfast this morning.
Bailey who served us was excellent, she couldn?t have been more helpful.
My husband had avocado and poached eggs on toast which he said was great. I had a bacon sandwich, the sandwich was ok although I had to ask for some butter to spread on the bread bun as it was dry hence the 3* for food.

Had gluten free Sunday lunch, everything was lovely apart from the missing Yorkshire Pudding in gluten free too, so easy to make too.

We recently hired the pergola for our corporate event. Kimberley and the team did an amazing job from the moment I placed the event enquiry to the day of the event. Great service all round and the food was brilliant. I would highly recommend for work events. Thank you!

I organised a baby shower for my BF at the Keys in the Pergola and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Anyone who has organised any kind of event/occasion knows that while it can be tons of fun it's also lots of work and can be stressful. Kimberley and Elle (the event coordinators) made the process of booking/organising so much easier with their fast responses and willingness to always go the extra mile. The event itself was beautiful. I cannot express enough how stunning the Pergola is. The wisteria adds such a beautiful extra element to an already pretty space (I wish I'd taken some photos of the space before everyone came so I could upload some photos!).
The day of the event, Kimberley and Nadine helped make everything incredible. They were both so kind and so sweet and did everything they could to make things run as smoothly as possible. I've done a few more corporate style events and I can 100% say that Kimberley and Nadine are some of the best people I've had the pleasure of dealing with from events spaces. It's the little things like Nadine offering iced water to us as we were setting up (we managed to have the slightly cooler day after an intense heatwave), or the mamma and daddy-to-be being given a little treat, or that when the mamma-to-be mentioned how lovely the quiche was, getting an extra one for her. It makes a great event and absolutely wonderful one.
The food was fantastic. We had lactose-free/vegan guests and their food was just as tasty as the standard menu. Everything was prepared beautifully and it came out looking lovely. Again, Kimberley and Elle were great on being flexible and we ended up having a delightful afternoon tea with lots of tea and coffee (there was rarely an empty cup). Nadine and Kimberley were absolutely amazing about checking in and making sure everything was good and that we didn't need anything else.
Clean up, again, not one of the most glamorous parts of a party but Nadine was an absolute star. She was so kind and made even the less fun parts honestly a breeze.
If you're considering holding an event or even just a group dinner I would 100% recommend The Keys (especially the Pergola). It's a beautiful place, with lovely food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere.

Establishment takes bookings and walk ins, went for breakfast 1hr 15mins before breakfast cut off time of 11:30, went in and asked for a table of 4, to be told that they're really busy but have empty seats and tables. We were a group of 4, to which we witnessed a group of 4 elderly people who said to one another (as we stood outside searching for a breakfast bar on google) that they hope they let them in as they also never had a booking. So it's fine for others but not for us to walk in without a booking, the member of staff didn't even seem interesting in entertaining us.
For a good business you'd never turn away paying customers with an empty restaurant. Wouldn't go there at all if I were you.

We called in on Saturday evening ordered a large parmo and large fish and chips the portions we're definitely not large my fish looked like a regular portion and my husbands parmo the same .we have been going for years but I feel recently we have felt let down by the portion size and pricing £20 for a small fish

You know it's bad when the whole restaurant are complaining...Awful experience! Waited 40 mins to even get a drink and had to ask for that. Took ages for the starter and mains, 2.5 hours later we left. No real apology and didn't own their mistakes at all. Awful service throughout and didn't care for loyal customers. Would not recommend.

The Keys was a lovely experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I had Scampi and Chips, all of which were served hot and delicious even if it took a little while to arrive. Furthermore, the staff were very attentive and made sure we were looked after. For drinks, I treated myself to two Pina Coladas, which were sweet and well-presented. All in all, the experience was enjoyable, and I would gladly return. Perhaps something I would say is that at times, it got a little loud. However, this didn't take away from the food and drink quality or the friendly service.

Visited for the first time in a long while with my Mum since it was a sunny day and we remembered the back garden seating. The place was as lovely as we remembered it. Ordered chicken Caesar salad and moules mariniere and coffees - enjoyed them all. Took photos for memories and asked the server (with pink hair) to take one of us both. I politely asked her to move back because I wanted the photo to include scenery in the background and not so close up but she didn?t respond! And photo was not great. In fact, a nice man sitting drinking his beer offered to take another for us and it was much better. Other than that strange interlude, it was a very enjoyable hour or 2.

We attendees yesterday, 11 of us for bottomless brunch. We had the pleasure of being served by the AMAZING Nadine for the full 2 hours, she was absolutely amazing, very professional, very efficient, just the best. Food was beautiful, will definitely be coming back again and hopefully looked after by Nadine. Thank you x
