Parked up on a lovely hot summer ?? day and seen the pub.
I didn't have food,so basing my review solely on a pint of cold shandy which tasted and went down fantastic.
Spot on for customer service.
Parking on a Sunday is £1.50 & lasts 24 hrs.
Car parking is the whole of the Yarm high street.

The rain spattered on my windscreen this afternoon as I awkwardly clambered out of my car, making my way toward Yarm?s prized Ketton Ox. I had brought with myself a feeling of great excitement and whimsy, as one of my fondest Sunday pass-times is to explore and dine at the very best of Teesside?s restaurants. This Sunday was no exception.
I was served by a bartender named TJ, a young lady whose smile was reminiscent of the morning rays of springtime, brightening my day- no, my year to no end. Her eyes were a sea of breathtaking brown and I was merely the captain of a passing ship, tipping my hat to its rippling beauty. Aanya pulled a decent pint too.
My food was a feast fit for kings, the beer was cold and crisp- taking me back to the first summer of my adulthood, care-freely plunging into the local beck as the sun beat down on me. Those were simpler times.
Thank you, Ketton Ox, for reminding this old-timer there truly is something to live for - top scran.

My wife and I paid a visit to Yarm on 11/6/25 and parked outside The Ketton Ox. We had a wander down one side and up the other to take a seat outside, it was a sun trap. The barmaid who served was very pleasant and when I returned our empty glasses, she asked did we enjoy our ales, to which I replied, yes. Next time we return will head for this pub.
We weren?t put off by the outside, it?s best to never judge a book by its cover!

What can I say, easily the best pub in Yarm, we're regulars here but don't often have a meal, today we did and the burgers were really enjoyable. A special shout out goes to the staff especially Lucie who had kept my mobile phone safe after I accidently left it behind, I returned about 2 hours later and it was safe behind the bar. Thanks guys ?

Great atmosphere and staff. Can't comment on the food as we only had drinks. There was live music. Young girl singing and playing a guitar. Very good.

I popped into this bar while visiting the quaint town of Yarm recently. I found it to be incredibly atmospheric and was served by a lovely bar tender TG I believe who talked me through the new shots on the menu ! The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The live music was brilliant. You have to check out the kettons most wanted bored featuring local dogs !!!
