Went with my wife for breakfast at Muse in Yarm and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the banana bread with mascarpone, eggs benedict, and the french toast ? every single dish was spot on. The banana bread was rich and moist, the hollandaise on the eggs benedict was silky and full of flavour, and the french toast was perfectly golden and indulgent.
Service was brilliant ? really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The space itself feels stylish but relaxed, with a bright, elegant atmosphere that makes it great for a casual breakfast or a special treat.
Highly recommend ? we?ll definitely be back!

Great place, great people and fantastic food. You may have gathered that we like Muse! We chose from the Prix Fixe menu and all four of us enjoyed our choices. I had soup, salmon and Sticky Toffee sundae. Delicious!

We were let down by another place we had booked and came across The Muse who found a table for 4 of us. We cannot praise this place enough. The staff are very friendly and service exceptional. The food is of a very high standard and infact was that good we booked for breakfat the next day which didnt disappoint either. If we visit Yarm again we would definitely book The Muse again and not even look at anywhere else. If you want a very nice atmosphere with excellt food and service this is the place to visit.

Lovely food and location. Just a couple of concerns: I felt uncomfortable when the bill arrived with an additional service charge already added, and being told it could be removed if I preferred. I don?t believe service charges are justified these days, especially with the new minimum wage. Secondly, please address the drains in the gents ? the smell is unbearable.

Been here numerous times over many years and have always found it top notch! Unfortunately the last two visits were a great disappointment? Both on a Saturday afternoon with my wife, service and food was abysmal, waited 1:20hr for our meal and it was only a burger for myself and chicken for the wife both very dry and small! full bag of rocket salad on both dishes to make it look like it was good value for money and portion of chips???
Not sure if it?s a different chef on the afternoons to the evening? But whatever is going on in the kitchen needs serious attention! Like I mentioned been visiting this establishment for many years and don?t think we?ll be going back in a hurry! Very very disappointing.
Would like to think they read these reviews and take action? But I very much doubt it!!!

Celebrated my mom?s 60th birthday here yesterday, around 26 of us. The food was superb and the staff were amazing and so accommodating.
P.s please put the sweet potato burger on the normal menu! It was the best veggie burger I have ever had and I?m going to be dreaming of having it again ?!!!

Visited for a Sunday roast, we've had several meals here before but this was our first roast. I had the beef which was beautiful, roasties were quite dry and didn't look appealing but Yorkshire pudding and veg tasty. Husband had the pork which he said was stunning. He enjoyed his cheesecake for dessert. Staff friendly as always and a lovely glass of pinot.

A very nice restaurant in the heart of Yarm. Friendly service; reasonable prices; good wine. I had the Caesar Salad and was very good! There are loads of good pubs in the area; but this is not a pub! But a fine place to stop and eat!
