Not enough staff on the counters...3 tills yet only ever 2 are manned??...so, there's nearly always a queue...you get the feeling it's done deliberately to force more of us to bank online but that's of no use when you want to pay in cash...and the opening hours are restrictive...come on Barclay's...get your act together.

Exceptionality helpful. The last bank in Yarm , hopefully it never closes. The ladies are always helpful when we visit.

Open 9:30, close 16:30 so you can only go in at lunch time, then they get you to use the automated machines because itâ??s so busy. The death of high street banking.

I called today to re-arrange appt. Yarm branch number was showing no connection, I was told they maybe a problem with the line so he couldn't get intouch with them. After a long conversation of how I could manage to contact to re- arrange appt I was told he could email Yarm branch and they may get back to me if they pick up the email!
All I wanted was to speak direct with Yarm - and this was impossible. This was to open a new bank account but after experiencing this very disorganised and unprofessional customer service I have had second thoughts.
